PS5 Beta bug: Hero swapping + spawn change
If you swap heroes RIGHT as the spawn point changes, you will be locked into the hero select screen and unable chose a hero because “you must be in a spawn room”
The selectable hero portraits vanish but the new hero you selected is posed on the screen as if you were still selecting them.
“Leave game” and other Options are also disabled so the only way to get out of the screen is to close Overwatch.
PC Beta Bug: Overtime not triggering correctly.
On Ilios (Well) overtime was not triggered in a situation where control flipped over to a team with 98% capture percentage, who proceeded to “full-cap” immediately. This does not match Overwatch 1 behaviour, as is shown in this video The Overtime Mystery - YouTube (~5:40).
Don’t forget the massive amount of cheaters… shhhh. >.<
Custom hybrid maps in overwatch 2 keep crashing when capturing point to unlock payload. I did a quick play hybrid map on new york and it didn’t crash when my team captured the point. But as I hopped into custom games on hollywood map, it crashes as soon as I finish capturing it. I think the custom game hybrid maps don’t have the info to put payload section next because it keeps crashing as soon as the circle is full.
While using the take a knee emote with Ash’s “Poolside” skin, instead of the actual emote Ash does a T-pose
I have noticed that sometimes playing zen, orb of discord appear green on player discorded although it should appear red. But not always.
Myself and the accounts of my two kids have the same problem. Either unlocked skins are now locked or for example Reapers Dusk skin is not even on the list in OW2. There were a couple other missing skins, though I cannot remember which ones at the moment.
I could say from my side:
The text chat is completely broken every time I play.
The log of all past messages will randomly just disappear.
The drop down menu that appears when you click on a player’s name (to block, report, etc.) will just not work. The menu will appear, but won’t allow me to select any options.
yes I dont have my OW1 skins in OW2
The beta will randomly freeze in qp matches and softlock my computer. If it was in fullscreen mode, I had to completely restart my computer in order to get it to work. Alt + F4 didn’t work and neither did trying to open task manager. Having it in borderless window mode allowed for at least task manager to be opened and close the game that way (instead of restarting). It seems to be worse/guaranteed if I’m grouped up with another person.

Roadhogs ult seems to be bugged. No sounds and no bullets appear for extended period of time.
When selecting voicelines from the communication wheel a different one from what i selected will play. I’ve noticed that the hello or thanks options will sometimes not trigger when I select them. Sometimes the text for the line appears but no audio seems to be played.
Framerate seems to become choppy at the end the game.
sombras hack and emp aren’t disabling enemy abilities
Trying to go up takes all eyes off the team and is hard to fly past a teammate, often only going backwards. It’s incredibly hard to get away and it feels like I lost all mobility.
Same. 90% of the time crashes at Entering Game, if I do get past it, consistently crashes within 30 seconds. Completely unplayable.
had a game in illios where i got hacked by sombra as a lucio and was still able to perform my special abilities and my ult.
The Ultra SMAA option doesnt work, when applying it just reverts back down to medium.
The POTG highlights are all pretty messed up. Sombra’s “Hacking” highlight just does not play during POTG highlight at all, its just the background followed by the POTG itself
Game completely freezes shortly after startup. I played yesterday with no issues, but today I can’t play anything due to the freezing. It will never unfreeze, forcing me to quit by task manager.
