Open mic reset to push to talk after restart

same issue here, i was a part of the first OW2 beta too.
now , everytime it reverts back to push to talk.

i have tried one fix which didn’t work which is to delet the settings text file inside of hte doucments folder, because some were saying maybe the right/read restrictoins were messed up , but no , no luck

all settings are presistent, except for this one

Yes, I can confirm I have that issue too since about a week.
I got off the phone about 45 minutes ago with a Blizzard representative and he confirms it’s a bug and we have to wait until the next patch notes if there will be a fix.

Also, do NOT bother to perform a “reset in-game settings” to try and fix this issue, because it will worsen things in other stuff: now I’m unable to check my GPU temp, FPS and anything else related to advanced performance stats. The Blizzard representative was able to replicate that issue as well after resetting the in-game settings from Battle.NET.

Doesn’t seem like it. It looks like a client bug so we will have to wait for a patch.

This is becoming extremely annoying and widespread. A lot of people I run into on group finder have the same issue. Over a week and no fix though.

I don’t think they’re monitoring this sub at all.

Spoopy has had the same double topic up for 20 hours now and they haven’t even swooped in to tell him “one thread at a time, bruh” like they do so swiftly everywhere else.

Edit: Lots of threads about this, no response from Blizzard yet.

Game keeps reversing to "Push to talk" instead of "Open Mic"

Every since the new Anniversary update it’s been doing this. I have a mute button so I don’t dedicate an entire finger to a button when I do callouts 50% of the game ANYWAY. This is frustrating because every time I launch the game, it automatically resets my settings to Push to Talk, and it’s only been doing it for about a day and a half now… But everything I’ve tried to fix it won’t do anything. is anyone else having a problem when after you close the game you have the mic to open mic and when you run it the next day it changed it self to push to talk without you changing the settings has this happened to anyone else

Broken Voice Chat

Before today, my voice chat was working (Group, Match, Team Voice Chat). Today I experienced a random disconnect from Match Voice Chat while playing a custom game. I restarted once and then it went back to normal but shortly after I got auto disconnected from the voice channel. Overwatch Voice Chat Broken

Hey guys, so my voice chat in game has been not working for months and I need some help fixing it. I have tried everything, all tutorials and read the forums but only one thing worked which is using a VPN however before when my voice chat worked, I didn’t need a VPN. Although today something happened, I alt tabbed back into my game and somehow my voice chat actually worked! But the sad thing is that the next game I played, I tabbed out and then tabbed back in and now it isn’t working again …
