Just hit 52 and Yes I was around when PONG & Donkey Kong were exciting.
This game is much better and you don’t have to put a quarter in it !!!
Got it for myself when my daughter asked for it.
I have more hours on it than she does but she’s way better than me which is kinda sad.

38 here. I can’t play Tracer and Soldier anymore due to the slower reflexes but I enjoy playing Dva and Orisa with a bit of Widow DM on the side. Used to be a big fan of Mercy as I like healers and her Res felt like it had real impact on the game which was fun.

Dads play overwatch, men! I am 39 years. When youth is gone, but you are not consider yourself as old. I would say mature men already. Glad to know that you not alone here over 30.
Working as a surgeon in hospital. Before Moira was released I played on Soldier:76 only. Don’t know why. I guess because he is a mature men with experience.
As I said I am the surgeon and tried to play on healers, but I found them boring. And here you are, Moira came. Half heal, half dd. “This is all I needed” thought then.
Now I play Soldier sometimes, sometimes I pick Moira.

I’m 45. I enjoy all the characters so I’m usually a fill in when needed guy. I have been told many times my Reinhardt play is excellent but I also have 40 hours logged on him. Getting old doesn’t mean you’re going to suck. I find really good competition in high silver low gold, that’s probably filled with a lot of 20 year olds. Honestly I just like playing any role. There is enough choice to keep the game fresh even for old people.

Sometimes I come into these threads to look at what is considered ‘old’ in gamer spaces. 33, 42, etc. It never makes me feel young.

I’m 46. I play Moira and Zen mostly. Love playing this game and have a ton of fun.

35 Zarya one trick here. I haven’t noticed my reaction time decrease much from when I used to play Quake 3 every day and night in my teens. If anything I would say my decision making skills have improved, better map awareness, the only thing which has probably declined is my drive to actually play for long hours on end, in to the night, until I can’t keep my eyes open any longer, forcing me to sleep. Now I’ll play 2-3 games a night and I’m good.

I also look forward to the experience more and appreciate the privilege we have in life called “gaming”. Maybe it’s my age now but I think about the world more, the wars going on, the starving kids, the hunger, and every time I sit down to play Overwatch, put on my open back HD6xx and start up Overwatch in a smooth 165hz 1440p display, I feel like the luckiest gamer in the world.

It’s silly but I get sad sometimes thinking one day I won’t be able to game any more, my hands, my limbs, my eyes, my brain, everything will eventually deteriorate and Overwatch will just be a distance memory. I’ll be a grandad one day rocking back and forth in a chair, and randomly think about those huuuge graviton team wipes :smile:

43 here. Grew up on gaming from Atari 2600, Radio Shack TRS-80 with the cassette loader for games, 386, 486, pentiums, AMD K2, etc.

Gaming sure has come a long way since those days. But the love to play has never fully died. I don’t play games as much as I used to and OW is really the only computer game I play. But IMO, it’s easily one of my top 5 games of all-time. Junkrat is my main, but I’ll play almost anyone sans Doomfist & Hammond. QP and Rando are my preferred game modes.

NOW GET OFF MY LAWN YOUNG PUNKS!!

This account im just happy to be a one trick D.Va main on comp at least - currently 3023 SR.

Theres a separate account I play Tracer and Reaper as dps and its ranked around 2.8k

For the moment im planning to one trick D.Va on this account and get to masters somehow.

I feel like i havent lost any of my reflexes yet and my short range tracking is still pretty decent improving. Like I have only got better since the game started. I started as a low gold bum, and now I manage to claw myself on to Diamond.

Been playing fps forever. Reflexes are still pretty good. Played on teams from 02 to 09 from sof2 to the battlefield series. Would be cool to play with some middle aged folk like myself!

I’m 28. Not old but getting there, but feel like 80+ at times. I frequently play with a few friends who’re in their mid 40’s early 50’s. They play a variety of heroes, though one of them plays a lot of Junkrat.
