All jokes aside, where is this coming from? Twitter? I feel like a lot of views on twitter are generated simply because people love beefs like these 
, but I don’t think Mercy mafia exists for real. If you have real proofs, I would love to see, cuz it sounds so silly that such a cute character has a mafia playing her.

when people say “mercy mafia” they’re referring to mercy mains in general, who all of which have been stereotyped into being overreactive angry people who the devs are afraid to make angry.
of course, when you apply common sense this is really only because of a vocal minority of mercy mains who are really loud about any perceived balance changes. you’ll find vocal minorities like this in any hero’s mains, so i’m not sure why mercy is a special exception.
ironically, people who hate mercy and her mains are just as insistent on talking about how much they hate mercy as the people they think they’re criticizing.

no it does not, the mercy mafia does not exist, people overexaggerate it.
you have people saying “MERCY MAINS SO UPSET OVER 5% REDUCTION” even though theres less than 5 posts on here and like, none on twitter saying anything bad about the nerf. infact, most mercy mains say that it wont even be noticeable. even skiesti, niandra, and eleyzhau admit it and would rather have damage boost nerfed. most say they would’ve rathered had this then the GA nerf in S3
its the same thing with people saying doom and genji mains are big crybabies who dont want their hero being nerfed. literally no player wants their main to be nerfed, it makes no sense ever sense day 1 of when all this crap even started. people just like blaming others and starting arguments because their just jobless and wanna farm likes and interactions to cleanse that hard spot in their body where their loneliness is kept in.

yeah no duh lol, if you do the math you actually start to realize that all this nerf is is just a “oh look! we made it look like we actually nerfed mercy! you guys can stop whining now” so the devs dont have to keep hearing about her. the nerf doesn’t do anything and anyone whos complaining about it failed percentages in math class

Honestly i think ive seen more “hahaha the mercy mafia is malding” than i have seen people actually mad about the nerf itself. People are definitely mad about the nerf, but from what ive seen its less what the nerf is and mroe why the nerf is happening that they are mad about.

Streamers basically brigaded their viewers into being toxic towards mercy to have her nerfed. it’s gross.

I mean, i think characters like Winston and Mercy were deliberately made in mind to have the game be accessible, and have more hero variety types than just aiming, from meleeing with rein, shielding, bombing, etc.
Mercy is just a weird isolated char since her mains often want her to be meta, or at least climbable with or playable. But she’s probably one of the only characters that can spin around, press shift ctrl and stare at a target and look at other people all match.
She’s like essentially a golf frisbee with 3s redirections that can fly 20 feet high in the air, making projectiles struggle to hit her, making tanks and projectile supports often struggle to hit her next to pharah.
Then dps has the hitscan, but you might have a reaper and m1 mei main, and just have a flying comp your reaper one true ship can’t hit, nor your team.
She’s usually middling but i mean i think maybe the nerf might allow for base dmgs to maybe go up on certain hero, or maybe amp up in other aspects. We still have yet to see why. But the nerf did happen with plans for a new hero.
Perhaps they broke each other, or the other might have some shiny new toys?

Kinda sorta. Samito and Seagull don’t care if the hero were removed from all meta data. Atleast Stylosa tries to make a point.
This was his 20 minute video detailing when the GA nerf happened and he disagreed with the changes.
