Just left a QP game because my team was just playing 5 dps and not killing anyone, you know, the usual and I had the nice surprise to get -75% XP for my next 14 matches.
Not a single warning prior to it. Thanks Blizzard. If you don’t want me to leave games do something about QP.

Why shouldn’t we have standards for QP? Just because a scant few others don’t make a serious effort doesn’t mean that everyone else doesn’t.

I didn’t get that big red message at all and it was QP.
If I want to leave QP games because my team just wants to fool around it’s my choice, I shouldn’t be punished because I don’t want to play that kind of games just like they don’t get punished for fooling around.
Some people actually want to try to win in QP and shouldn’t be punished for it.

Not my screenshot, I had to nab it off google since I don’t leave enough.
You get that warning after leaving a certain amount of games prior to actually getting penalized. That shows for leaving competitive and quickplay. It’s different from the one that shows from only leaving competitive.

You don’t want personally punished but by leaving there is no guarantee how quickly your spot will be filled and due to that you are punishing the rest of your now former team. You are also punishing those who don’t like having to do backfill (personally I don’t care doing it but that’s not the point) by forcing them to come into a situation that is possibly worse because of the timing of you leaving and them filling. If you want to just screw around go play with AI or a custom game and stop dumping on the rest of the players.

It’s your choice to leave, it’s not their choice to backfill. Ideally both would have options, but you left 5 out of 20, that’s the price.

you just werent paying attention. and 14 matches ?? youve been leavinga ton of games lately.
thats ok, i have been too. double/triple sniper meta means the other team instawins these days … i usually leave too.
go play some vs AI or some 1v1 … makes the penalty go away faster …
I hate the logic with the penalty
(this example is made up, though the last time I actually did get penalized a few months back, this is how it happened except i got penalized for 10 matches)
Leave a game I was backfilled = good
It backfills me again, leave again since it’s the same match= good
backfills me again, leave again since it’s the same match = get a warning for leaving too many matchs
backfills me again, leave again since it’s the same match I’ve been metaphorically backfilled into 3 times already= receive -75% experience penalty for 15 matches. Even though I only “left” 3 matches
How does that make any sense?

The last warning was like 5 days ago and didn’t had any since then, certainly not a giant red message. It’s not the first time it happens to me.

To make it worse, you know that assemble your heroes part? It’s actually safe to leave during that. When the composition looks bad, I like to leave before the suffering begins.
