Symmetra. Maligned and hated by the community. She has three legendary skins the same as Doomfist who came out in July 2017.
She has no golden gun victory poses or highlight intros. Everyone else has at least one or the other. BOB is now Golden. Brig has her golden shield. Moira has her golden nails (and her Serve intro shows off her weapons quite nicely)
What are the reasons for this. I can draw my own conclusions. She’s not valued by the Devs. It doesn’t matter because she’s garbage.
So there’s that…
On top of this Sym is still not being used in OWL. I wonder why?
Is it that she’s a homogenised hero who offers nothing that others can do better outside of Vaswani Taxis?
Is it her ridiculous, damage mitigating tickrate that is halved by armour.
Maybe it’s her low base damage on her beam.
Or is it that she’s a squishy close range hero with no sustain outside of a three seconds of taking no damage shield and no reliable means of escape other than precognitive TP placements.
I dunno… Could you just, help her a wee bit? Give her some love. The charge buff is a step in the right direction but if you don’t look at her kit as a whole she will remain the hodge podged hero that she is now.
