Now if only we can get some valid matchmaking in arcade modes. I’m sick of seeing solo GM ranks in my games with gold and plat rank people. This also goes for Hero Gauntlet. Every time I have done that it’s always a very high ranked player just steamrolling everyone. I would love the mode but can’t do it anymore because of this.

Jeff has said in the past he doesn’t like to make definitive statements because people take them as promises, and then don’t allow for things to change even if the circumstances have. He’s also cautioned us in the past that the arcade availability also goes by population.

He doesn’t make many statements so taking his personality that he’s saying at all shows a lot. The most reasonable conclusion knowing this about Jeff is that QP classic will be a long term mode like Mystery Heroes (notice how they are sectioned off from the others in the pic and don’t say when they will expire) barring some technical issue or a low player population.

That’s most likely why Wyoming title it the way he did.

Actually I was thinking of Archives; Uprising, Retribution and Storm Rising. They’ve already created them but it’s an event recycling mode. :thinking:

Honestly, I think blizzard should change it somehow to either 2500 in one game, 1500 in one life or maybe 900 in one use

And make it work against barriers

YES! GOODBYE FOREVER, MYSTERY HEROES! Yes it will still be there, but I will no longer be stuck having to play it just because the other options might be worse. I have always hated, HATED mystery heroes and having another mode I can reliably play instead makes me soooo happy.

I never derived any fun from RNG handing me totally lopsided stomps where the enemy never got say, healers or something, nor did I enjoy all the times I just had to sit there and get pummeled while praying that a counter to whatever was pummeling us came up eventually.

Then there were the times the enemy team comp was perfect and no counter was ever GOING to crop up because we would be hard pressed to break it, even if we could choose our characters.

I don’t know who made that frustration generator the permanent arcade game mode but at long last, it’s finally behind us.

Wow, it only took 3 years to have more modes displayed on the arcade screen at the same time. No Limits still not permanent, I see? The actual “QP Classic”? And you know, it still would’ve been easier have Classic and No Limits simply pop up as a window when you click Quick Play. I don’t know if new players on Switch will know there’s a mode in the Arcade that let’s you pick whatever hero you want.

FINALLY SEVEN MODES I cant wait to play all those two extra modes that will be 3v3 elimination and mirror FFA!

What about Comp Classic? , what better way to test which is more popular, classic or RQ. Think I know which would win.

Ugh, more arcade buttons? What we need are more modes that aren’t just old rulesets or 2000 variations of deathmatch.

Where the actual brawls we had before? And for that matter, new brawls!

I wonder if that new 3v3 will be using anchor stats from the 3v3 groups. I wouldn’t mind trying to aim for top 500 again. But its kind of silly if they do use stats from a mode thats over a year old.

More modes to ignore, nice :smile:
