  1. Be toxic, but not too toxic
    • It’s okay to yell at others and stuff, but don’t say offensive words that could potentially make people angry, such as “Braindead” and “Doomfist-Is-Fair”
  2. Moira’s Beam
    • It is illegal to say that Moira’s beam is an aimlock. Reasoning is that it’s not an aimlock; it has a very fat width with the visuals of an aimlock. Just don’t mention aimlock and Moira together, or you’re going to be flagged as trolling.
  3. Always hate Doomfist
    • Doomfist will always be hated on the forums; if you see a rage thread about Doomfist, make sure to compliment that said salty player and always mention his 4 second OHKO and rooftop shenanigans.
  4. #ReworkMercy
    • Resurrect, according to the forums, will always be bad or broken. Make sure to always say to remove rez and add a cleansing ability to Mercy instead.
  5. Joking
    • It doesn’t matter what your intentions are; joking is prohibited on the forums.
  6. Valorant
    • Make sure to once in a while cry that Overwatch is dead and Valorant is better.
  7. Tank
    • Always complain about how bad the tanks are in this game minus Reinhardt and Zarya. It doesn’t matter whether you’re successful with the other tanks; your voice will only be heard if you complain about the role.
  8. Smurfing
    • You better start the day with at least 10 complaints about smurfing in Overwatch Competitive and also include things like SMS authentication to kill smurfs.
  9. Politics
    • Always include politics with an esports game for maximum ranting and arguments. You can do any type; I’m just not going to say anything cause I don’t want to get banned.
  10. Don’t have fun
    • If you want to have fun, go play agar.io or something. The forums are only meant for arguments and flagging players as inappropriate behavior.

I reject your reality, and substitute my own.

  1. Don’t be toxic.
  • And don’t let anyone catch you off guard with their own toxicity. Sometimes you may need to mute players on your own team, and that’s okay if they aren’t providing a good playing atmosphere.
  1. Moira’s beam is a beam type weapon.
  • A lot of people freak out when being killed by it, due to it’s fancy visuals. Proper gameplay awareness and strategy negates this as an issue, and no further discussion ever goes well… avoid people who bring it up.
  1. Never simply spread hate towards a hero’s design.
  • It’s not the reason you died. Don’t let anyone else drag you into unnecessary hatred of things that you clearly cannot change, simply to pick sides, as no one develops or learns that way.
  1. Mercy’s rework.
  • This rework sparked heated debate, and a lot of people don’t like having to face any kind of challenge in their videogames, so a lot claim that Mercy shouldn’t be capable of changing the fight. Always remember, that some people are wrong.
  1. I want to kill myself.
  1. Shiny new thing that looks almost like the old thing.
  • So, there are a lot of shooters now that try to have a look similar to Overwatch, and build random new sets of skills and things, but a lot of them end up looking like a jumbled mess. Oh, and Overwatch isn’t effected by them in any sense, and those are my opinions on the matter. :3
  1. Tanks for playing.
  • So you’ve come a long way, and learned how to play most of the heroes now… and you don’t understand why people are flaming mad about certain ones?
    Well, that’s because no one actually wants to learn, so they come here. To sound like they’ve learned, because no one can fact check actual ability.
  1. Overwatch’s balancing system does have actual issues.
  • You might run into those issues.
  1. Always remember: Never accept the world as it appears to be. Dare to see it for what it could be.
  1. Have fun, above all.
  • If you want to have fun, don’t listen to what the loudest voices say, listen to what your own inner voice tells you would be enjoyable, and don’t let those other people stop you. Play the hero you want to play, and do the things you want to do. As long as we’re all playing to win, but also have a good time, you wont see as much toxicity as some claim to always encounter.

You forgot a very important point:

Always protect Genji, Hanzo and Doomfist

  • No matter what argument is made, always protect these heroes with your forum life… If you have run out of proper arguments, be sure to construct some straw arguments for your opponent and bust those. Use what ever means necessary to protect them
