Why is everything so BROKEN…… I cannot login to Forums w/o being told I need to purchase the game making me concerned about Oct 4th and now this. Ugh

No way. How do I prove I purchased the game like forever ago >< I checked and even my CC has expired on file & even afraid to update that let alone re-install that which the Forums is telling me I do NOT even own yet I have a whole YouTube channel from 6+ years ago worth of PSN then later PC gameplay

Gonna just wait til Oct 4th then IF Blizzard acknowledges I owned OW on 2 separate PC accounts loooooong before OW2 was even whispered then I’ll update my CC and IF this eye sore display via my UI doesn’t cease to exist. Then I’ll try that option.
First time I am seeing this but that may be something exclusive to consoles.
I can only guess it is some debugger that is being triggered by certain button presses (or maybe even 3rd party software)

That looks like some sort of overlay. Maybe it’s not in overwatch but on top of it?

Yeah. Such crossed my mind. I use UI enhancement Overlays from FFXI community to enhance a 20 year old game making it HD and all sorts of wizardry w/ UI but I would never touch OW. It’s actually perfect as is.
Wait this is on console or not? because I see controller inputs on screen.
Also considering it appears during the loading screen too, I am thinking that this may not even be related to OW. Have you tried other games to see if it is still there?

Check the Abilities. Both are Mouse Buttons to perform. I do use UI Hax as mentioned but they don’t load up w/ OW nor are they even remotely similar in display via UI enhancement overlays.
Such doesn’t match what I use in a totally different MMO game.
I also uploaded such in 4K using ShadowPlay then converted 2K to 4K using Wondershare. Good Luck matching PC visuals on console. XD
If you have a controller plugged in on PC it will show both inputs.
try launching another game and see if it is still there. If yes then it is something installed on your pc that is doing that.
That’s definitely an audio visualizer overlay. I think a few years back one of the major sound card manufacturers gushed about adding that feature as a way to “get an advantage in your games”, so it might be straight from your sound card’s software suite if you happen to have one from the company in question.
I’d look up the post to get the exact manufacturer and an example image, but reddit’s search functionality is one of the worst on the whole of the internet, and manually sifting through 5 years of posts is a non-starter for me.
I have an Nvidia RTX2080i and iirc the Sound is also Nvidia. I’ll look into such >< Idk why it’s specifically choosing OW to annoy me. Never seen such ever before in other games I play on PC.
Just loaded up MHW and nada. Also never witnessed such in FFXI before & play that daily since quitting OW.

That’s a GPU, and nvidia doesn’t make audio cards at present.

Different colors, but same concept. If that’s not it, try disabling your UI hacks thing entirely and see if OW is suddenly fixed. If so, then you need to fix your config there.
