You’re the one with a wonky OW and a utility that could very easily be argued to be cheating; you tell me.
It seems silly to me to avoid shutting down a program you know is designed to modify the UI of one or more games when you’re running into an issue with THE UI BEING MODIFIED IN A GAME.

It’s not like Hax in OW that I use routinely playing FFXI lmao. Windower only works for FFXI nothing else & 90% of the player base remaining all use such to some capacity. Hax are GOOD when the community improves upon that which the Devs created. Hax are BAD when it’s a Competitive nature game via player vs player offering unfair advantages. FFXI is an anomaly. I know.
I play at 60fps. Devs only programmed for 30fps which makes controls unresponsive. Hax FTW! Trust me the FFXI community player base are The Original GODS of all Hax. The game plays infinitely superior to the bare bones SE edition. I don’t condone Hax in OW. FFXI is a very Unique animal.

Yeah, hide your in-game UI and see if that also goes away. If it does, its in OW, if it doesn’t its external 3rd party software somewhere.

My version of FFXI pisses all over SquareEnix original design itself. Nothing in my uploads matches what you would see playing the game bare bones as is.
I know Hax are terrible in OW. FFXI is just different.
I wasn’t claiming or making any statements about overlays having anything to do with hacks…? If you read through my replies I think you will see that.

Yeah. I’m just saying cuz I know our perspective as a community amongst OW players. We are NOT into nor condone Hax of any sort. I just find such interesting & worth sharing.
It’s like as if OW being capped at 30fps but we were able to break the FPS cap limitation our selves instead of the Devs. Problems Solved!

Over the years I have been guilty of such for both games I predominantly play. When you spend too much time discussing the game you end up w/ no time to actually play the game so I walk away.
Plus I was banned a long time ago for something I never even stated but mods twisted my words into a pretzel in order to silence me so. Now I only come here to discuss important things exclusively for my ability to play the game rather than Balance or anything else.
