New ptr patch notes!

If you’ve only played Overwatch, maybe I would understand defining this as a ‘big patch’ Otherwise, this is rather lacking.

Blizzard literally releases patches slower than several indie games I currently follow. And, unlike Blizz, they’re actually open with their future plans.

Saying ‘it took work’ as a gotcha term doesn’t work when it doesn’t feel like they actively put much work into it.

I guess the forum complaints that Moira solos DPS in lower brackets finally went somewhere. Don’t let it be said they don’t read stuff here.

So this is the cooldown starting when Translocator is tossed out? Then what does that mean about it starting when killed by an enemy? It would have already started, right?
I don’t get it.

If its killed by an enemy it goes on a full 6 second cooldown.

oh, of course, I should have figured that out. So it is a repeat cooldown, punishment for it being discovered. Thanks

Because they increased his speed. They buffed the wall ride speed when they nerfed it

I don’t see you crying. Weren’t we supposed to be crying and complaining nonstop about any and all Doomfist nerfs? Was my memo for “complete overreaction to please whiners” sent incorrectly?

This is stupid and not needed.

Moira was fine for years and now because the devs force 2-2-2 and she’s picked more because of a shield meta, NOW they want to nerf her. FFS.

Why was this needed? Lucio was fine in this regard.

Not seeing why this was needed either. The field died quickly if you knew how to target it.

Good change and needed.

WHY. Why are they nerfing her mobility? -_-

A lot of these changes are just dumb.

All of this is great except the pointless Moira nerf, but where are the Reaper nerfs? I mean hello? Can we reduce his healing percentage per damage dealt to 35 or 30% already?

Wait, why is sym nerfed?. Anyways… BIG GERMAN MAN AND PIGGY IS BACK IN THE METAAAAA. In all seriousness, I think they went a little harsh with the characters people were complaining about. All of these supports didn’t need the nerfs they got, and Sombra was fine. Sigma probably gets destroyed by hog because shift isn’t blocking anymore. I liked the Winston buff, shield felt a little weak.

Why rip? I thought Orisa needed 10 seconds on her cd even before the 9 sec change to make her fair. I think she’ll be fine.

And everyone else on their team shall suffer. I know my teams will if I ever tried to play Zen/Bap/Ana ever again.

Honestly, I’m underwhelmed. Some of these changes are nice, like Lucio and Mercy, and I’m glad they’re trying to tone down Sigma and Doomfist a little, but then you have all these nerfs that seem unnecessary (Moira, Sombra, Sym). The buffs they made to the lesser-used tanks seem nice, but with the armor nerf still in place I feel like Dva and Winston are still going to get melted stupid fast.

And then there’s all the stuff they DIDN’T touch. Reaper is still ridiculous, and snipers weren’t toned down in any way, so I just don’t think it’s enough to change the meta significantly, double barriers still seems like the best option even after the changes because everyone else dies too fast.

I’m very happy about the mercy buff and dva buffs

maybe it’s just me, but when Sigma can spam his shield but retracting and deploying his shield like Reinhardt’s shield and Brigitte’s shield, hack should be able to disable it. But now that his shield has cool down and function more like Orisa’s Barrier and Winston’s Bubble, it should not be hack once it has already been deploy.

The dev just made rules for retractable shield and deploy barrier inconsistent now.

Keyword, WAS she’s fine on Live Version after the Primary Fire nerf, the nerf to her Sentries is completely unnecessary.

No widow changes thankfully. All looks good to me then.

Meh, honeslty Orisa will be fine. The 10 sec does feel slower but overall i dont think itll be bad at all

I agree
