New DPS Support

And she has an auto-lock on ability that heals and damages people. She’s also stacked to the brim with abilities. Speed ring, Pulsar torp[e]does (because that’s apparently a banned word??), Flight, Primary fire healing and DPSing, and an Orbital strike ultimate (that is either straight up damage, a damage booster, or both).

Metro’s gonna have a field day with this one.

So where exactly did you find info? Because those videos never show what the heroes actually do. That’s why there are memes about them.

If you just saw the video, at least wait until tomorrow to make a judgement

What judgements? These are objective facts stated/shown in the release trailer.

The auto lock-on ability even shows the different characters being highlighted prior to activating. The spend two individual scenes highlighting the fact that she can both heal teammates and damage enemies in a large, single attack.

As for the orbital attack, that also shows a large AoE ability that causes the enemies to die when attacked while inside it’s radius. Now I wasn’t sure if it was solely because of the beam itself, the allies inside it being damage buffed, or both, but I clarified that too.

New OW2 character with a busted kit that’s objectively better than ALL the OW1 characters

Who is surprised?

im really getting sick and tired of these new hero designs basically taking all of the OG heroes’ kits and then stacking them all into one character and making them better.

and people wonder why the OG heroes are always left obsolete or generally bad because these new heroes are basically multiple heroes’ kits mashed into one hero. so whats the point of playing the older heroes?

We will get are hands on her tomorrow but i agree she looks like another dps support and based on numbers she might just be a lucio replacement in rush comps

My question is why did they show the heroes in their OW1 look?
Mistake or implying something?

Honestly, that was my thoughts when i saw stylosas breakdown.

With blizz its always two steps forward one back.

No cc or invuls but we never said anything about auto lock ons.:man_facepalming:t6::man_facepalming:t6::man_facepalming:t6::man_facepalming:t6:

Yes, exactly this. Always over-kitted to the brim. Like Juno could have speed boost, flight, her ult and nobody would think she’s uninteresting or weak.

There really was no need for her passive or that auto lock-on ability.

I was tempted to use “AoE” to describe it, but feel like that would confuse people, since it looks like that heals/shoots anything in LoS (whereas your typical AoE ability is a small uniform bubble).

Last 4 letters are a different word. Really dumb filter system for the forums.

Maybe. Their are talks of a potential 6v6 events based on Aaron’s tweets so.

Also how did you notice that??

That’s a bit of a stretch. It’s definitely at least in the double digits when they’re taking steps backwards.

I remember when ana first came out and people were acting like nade was the end of the world.

It’s doubles your healing AND stops the enemy from getting healed? :scream:

while on a large AOE tool? :face_vomiting:

And seeing this now is just funny. As if she isn’t going to get blown up two times over for trying to do the trailer thing.

Who listens to Metro? Dude is totally washed.

Also can we wait until we know what the numbers are and actually play her before we pass judgement?

No, panic now.
Wave your arms and scream.

This is how we do this.

ill take auto lock ons, ugly hero design, annoying voice over more effin CC and esp Invuls all day every day. thank god, so sick of things not dying. there shouldn’t be any immortalizes in this game, rez is enough in that realm.

According to the ability list on Twitter it heals allies and increases their damage. But we don’t know how fast she builds ult, how fast it heals, what percentage of damage boost it gives, how long it lasts, how fast it moves, how you place it, if it has any other properties or not, how big a radius it has, etc. We are missing more info than we have right now. Hopefully that’s filled in tomorrow. The trailer doesn’t tell you much more than the hero fantasy.
