Nerf Zarya decay rate and beam length so she can’t melt everyone with ease. Add a cast time of 0.6 secs before she can ult to allow for counterplay. We are sick of this dps

Tank players love to say that Zarya doesn’t need nerfs, but she needs to be toned down. More tank, less I melt your team then walk down anything without mobility. I think a nice nerf would be to kill the bounce from secondary fire, nerf beam length, or make her damage decay faster. I’d also be fine with killing her movement speed to slow her down.

If it’s so easy to melt people, surely you shouldn’t have any issues solo carrying your competitive games and reaching a high elo by one-tricking her?

This is because no one in the higher elos ever complains about Zarya and the complaints are pretty unique to this forum only. As a 4.3k off-tank player (Yes, this includes Zarya), I have never heard anyone complain about Zarya being viable.

That fall off buff is getting to be unnecessary. She doesn’t have to deal with double shields 90% of the time, healing is way lower on average across the board.
At the very least I’d reduce it by half.

So uh. Why is tracer included in this list? Surely you’d want ashe nerfs over tracer, considering she is just objectively better? Tracer isn’t even amazing rn. At GM, she’s picked a lot cause those players are gods, and there’s way less shields and healing nowadays. At lower ranks tracer gets way less value. She’s in a decent spot. Not bad, not amazing.
Ashe and widow on the other hand, both need looking at. They keep tickle nerfing them, yet other heroes get hit with a fat nerf hammer, like doom, hog or mei.

I dunno dude, ashe has been bit with a hell of a lot more nerfs than widow has so far.
I’m personally feeling the pain at range after that damage nerf.
Also, it annoys me to no end that widow got off with a slap on the wrist, and yet we’re losing another dps other than herself that can even come close to competing with her at range.
McCree is in the bin.
Hanzo’s projectile speed makes him absolute hot trash at long range.
Ashe, whilst strong, is slowly but surely getting nerfed (even though I think they should just scrap these nerfs and revert her to her pre-buffed state).
This game gets incredibly boring when the only character capable of adequately challenging a widow… Is another widow.

For widow, why both increase charge time AND decrease damage. Her dps isn’t even the problem. She actually has some of the lowest dps in the game and only does actual damage when hitting consistent headshots.

Zarya is a better DPS than most DPS. Works well with 90% of the tank roster, and requires the braincell activity of a 5 year old to operate.

Sure, you can say that, but I am going to have to respectfully disagree with this statement. She is picked the most because she is the easiest tank to learn, yes, but it doesn’t mean that she is insanely easy to use as your SR gets higher. You can easily feed as her and get 0 value with her ultimate by being a “5 year old”.

She was so OP that instead of just nerfing her they created Brig to counter her, who was even more OP.
Then Brig was so OP that Tracer was useless, so they buffed Tracer’s falloff range.
Then they nerfed Brig to be balanced recently, leaving Tracer to run free again.
However, they have never reverted her falloff buff, which means she is stronger than she was before Brig came out…when she was already the strongest hero in the game.
There’s a reason she’s the most picked DPS in GM now. She’s 2% higher than Ashe who is second.

Since you play her often, what percentage of games do you have gold damage with her? While Diamond and below typically have DPS reaching gold damage. I’ve noticed it’s perfectly natural for Zarya and Rein to take gold damage from DPS in masters and GM. I find it interesting that it’s fine there, yet frowned upon in lower tiers.
Zarya’s a character that takes some skill, but not as much as it claims.
