You can shoot like a meter away from someone and still sleep them, the hitbox is larger than Hanzo’s arrows I believe. I’ve played some ana and it’s basically impossible to miss a tank with it, and squishies are super easy as well.
I honestly don’t know how I feel about this, but I’m curious to see how this goes lol
I think sleep has a pretty punishing cool-down, so does that balance it out?
The size is compensation for the slow speed. Every projectile in overwatch follows the rule that The faster the projectile, the smaller its hitbox and vice versa

Literally any sort of regular stun, on a lower cooldown than sleep.

Like they can buff the rest of her kit, but this long of a stun is just dumb.
Except Ana does need that time to get away. Ana is slow AF. There’s no guarantee you can kill even a 200HP hero with the sleep dart - nade - shoot - melee combo either. Sleep dart is a punishment for poor play. A rein charging in like a moron? Punished. A D.va with bad DM management and poor positioning? punished. A genji who doesn’t know how to avoid the long wind-up or how to use their kit’s mobility or deflect? Punished.
Making sleep dart like all the other stuns is a terrible idea. I guess the OP who’s only played “a little” ana play some more. Ana does not need this change, period.
I’m not saying reduce the duration to 0.8s, more like 4s for heroes over 250hp. That’s still a huge amount of time in a game like OW.
You don’t need 5s, especially if it’s on like a fat tank 15m away already.
genji shurikens break that rule. not only are they slow, they are smallest in the game tied with hanzos arrows. they also dont do meaningful damage individually.
if i miss someone by 1pixel it’s a total miss. idk what game ur playing. I’m <500 bronze and stream vod reviews of my mistakes in slowmo. miss nano genji by 1pixel and my team loses the match = back to <500.
What is Zen’s defense tool then?
Damage? Ana can already kill squishies faster than Zen using Primary + nade combo. Which might I add only requires bodyshots and a practically unmissable nade.
Sleep is just Ana’s crown jewels.
Don’t even mention the fact that Zen has one of the easiest hitboxes to hit in the game while Ana’s hitbox is just complete whack.
I certainly don’t think sleep should be removed but saying that it is her only defense tool while she has nade in her kit is just disingenuous.

People pretend to care about tanks and then when, as you stated, the impossible to miss projectile comes into question. “Nah, aiming shouldn’t be a prerequisite to playing Ana.”
Lul… absolutely ridiculous.
It has a windup time before it fires and is a projectile. It is the only ,real’’ counter to transformation ults as they are not stopped by stuns (thus the duration of the sleep). When Ana used it you can dive and cream on her.
