Nerf the hitbox on Ana's sleep

Nearly everything is.

Hanzos arrows are tied with a couple other objects (Such as genjis shurikens) for smallest hitboxes in the game for projectiles.

Friendly reminder to anyone angrily coming to this thread to defend sleep dart being changed in a way that only raises the abilities skill floor acknowledge the fact that tanks ability to defend themselves from the ability have been crippled due to years of nerfs.

Remember that the hitboxes are generous in overwatch because, for a lot of heroes, you’d have to be cheating to consistently and accurately hit your shots enough to matter.

Solder 76 missing three shots isn’t important enough to matter. Ana missing three sleeps had better be because the Ana can’t aim, and not because the hitbox was made smaller due to whining.

Sleep dart is so slow that you can walk to the side once you see her reach for the gun thing and dodge it. It had better have a hitbox to compensate for that.

It is not even nerfs in particular. Some tanks just have no defense against it. Personally, I just think the hitbox needs to be reduced. I do not actually want it nerfed, I want her to have to aim it even against tanks.

A five second stun…

1.) If it lands because it wasn’t blocked, dodged or she misses.

2.) And you aren’t hit by anything while you’re sleeping.

3.) And she didn’t already use it to save her life before.

Genji’s shurikens are pretty fast when in his optimal range. Especially his fan.

Any stun longer than a second is stupid.

Hell, I think mccree being having a .8 second stun is ridiculous.

There is literally no reason for a stun to last almost an ENTIRE SECOND let alone FIVE.

I always get sleeped for the full time but when ever I try to sleep someone our dps just taps them for 1 damage and monke wakes up

The cooldown doesn’t suddenly make up for it being a 5 second stun…

It’s still a FIVE SECOND STUN. That if you hit on anything that isn’t a tank, is quite honestly a free kill.

Depends i think the main reason ana can’t headshot is due to how strong sleep is so she needs a team mate to follow up which is rare even in masters unless they are dead centre of the choke

I play in against GM / masters players.

I have YET to have a single time when an ana’s team cannot help her finish off the slept target…

It has a travel time and worst of all a wind up animation with a punishing CD. make it an instant hitscan ability and then you can make it as small as you want.

A punishing cooldown, except for when you also take into a consideration that she has a whole other ability that gives her an instant 100 hp back and just the general fact that she does 70 dmg a shot, AND the fact that her hitbox is a joke.

A 5 second stun is not needed nor is it EVER warranted. Give her a regular stun…

your also playing literally the largest heroes on the roster so that could have something to do with it

Ana is too good, and the recent QoL buffs to her made her too good and too easy to use for mains and good players.

She used to have to position properly in order to hit the right target for her heal, but now it’s a smart heal that basically guarantees that she gets ‘SOME’ effectiveness in a crowd–despite being miles away.

Sleep lasts WAAAAY too long considering the pace of the game and TTK of many heroes.

Anti is a near instant fight-winner… straight up, and Blizzard wonder why shield tanks are so popular?!

SO, if Ana is going to keep her Smart Bullets, she needs a 4 second sleep (incl recovery time), a 50-60% Healing Reduction Bionade (not 100%!), and a more Chill Nano… maybe 6-sec, which would match Blade, and thus reward perfect timing.

She’s too good at the moment. Other options might be 150hp. They should try something to lower her power:utility:versatility ratios.

Maybe kill quickscoping?

Low skill Anas just spam sleep dart at tanks on cooldown to pad their stats. Great for a Tracer or Doom who can now attack her but it’s very tiresome for tanks who already have to suffer more CC than other roles. Have it so CC lasts for half duration on tank heroes to encourage the abilities to be used for their proper purpose not just spammed against tanks.
