Nerf Orisa Pull

I think it is no secret to anyone how strong this ability is and how well it combines with many others. Mini Zarya ult. How to fix? Very simple.

An ability should not attract targets if at that moment they used the ability for mobility (for example, Monkey jump pack).

It shouldn’t paralyze targets after pulling them. That’s what makes it basically instant death.

Sure, but then give her back the 900 hp shield on a 8 second cd and 50% dmg reduction Fortify

If this is true, then how come she was a throw pick for over TWO years with the exact same Halt, the barrier with 900 hp on an 8 second cd, and a 50% fortitude the whole time?

why are overwatch players so insistent on compensation buffs? If a character needs toning down, just tone down the right thing.

This argument seems pretty stupid since she’s already received some nerfs, they just keep wimping out and leaving her still too strong. Maybe argue with something that is actually relevant rather than just what sounds good in your head?

The same reason why DPS mains (such as yourself) are so insistent on nerfing tanks constantly to the point that they’re literally unplayable.

Then these same DPS mains (such as yourself) complain in threads about their DPS queue times!

Insisting it’s relevant does not make it so. Maybe slow down trying to smear the other guy based on hero choice and actually defend the nonsense you’re spewing with actual arguments?

No need to actually, the Supports are starting to complain about their Q’s increasing to 5+ minutes now too.

The supports just complain in game now when no one picks a shield tank on their team (due to all the nerfs they’ve received recently).

You had better not be one of those supports since this is what you asked for, and are continuing to ask for by supporting threads like this!

I play in GM. There are always 2 shield tanks. BECAUSE ORISA NEEDS TO BE NERFED.

I like this idea, but maybe give Orisa a small compensation buff of 100 more shield hp or 1 second off the barrier cooldown. She seems fairly fine and balanced to me but halt is an extremely strong ability.

As a former WoW player, it’s my duty to inform you that your use of a logical, well thought out post is going to fall on deaf ears - Blizz forums are ripe with cries of “nerf” the moment someone has a hard time dealing with a challenge, no matter the game (i.e. it’s like the very concept of a team-based shooter flies out the window, and people start thinking about how they lost in a 1v1 to a specific character, and immediately call for their head e.g. Moira, Orisa, Doom, etc. etc.).

She is not balanced, and I do not get this obsession with rolling back the barrier changes at all. They were nerfed for very, very good reasons and the improvement to gameplay was noticeable.

But these crybaby zoomers just keep coming back with the same “Nerf Orisa” threads, and unfortunately Blizzard listens to them

For what reason? As a tank player, she feels just as fair to fight currently as any other tank.

Well I don’t think we want to give her more ammo or damage, so unless you want god mode fortify back, shield is the only thing left

Yes, but rolling it back slightly (not the whole way) will not destroy this progress.
