Fortify is still god mode at 40%, and nothing about Halt is fair. She is too strong. I just want it to be viable to play in GM and not have 90% of the map locked out by the fact that Halt will instantly kill you if you’re not behind a tank.

Surely, if you are in fact GM. You’d know that the Widow would also instantly kill you if you’re not behind a tank too! So why aren’t you complaining to nerf widow too?

Because we’re talking about Orisa? Widowmaker and the effect she has on GM games can go die in a fire as well.

It is good, but not god mode. She still melts since her barrier is almost always gone.

It is the combo move that kills you, but I understand that. I just think without OP halt, Orisa will fall into a UP state

What she really needs are new voicelines, lore and a body. Having an OP tank would be fine if everything about it outside the kit didn’t annoy tf out of me.

Reinhardt’s win rate is on par and even exceeding Orisa’s (Orisa had already lost her win rate lead on the other tanks a long time ago), and Reinhardt has TWICE Orisa’s pick rate.

That low performance is now considered META? Seriously???

Then again, that’s what people kept saying over and over that Sombra was meta, Sombra’s meta, Sombra’s meta, despite never actually leaving the bottom of the pile.

That’s about on par as people that had Sombra triple nerfed despite already being at the bottom of the barrel. Orisa may not be as bad yet, but she hasn’t been top tank for a month! Even before the last batch of nerfs! And now you want her nerfed again???

Orisa will remain perfectly viable without Halt being graviton surge levels of OP. It’s not like the ability has to be deleted entirely. It just doesn’t need to have such enormous radius on top of basically stunning most heroes.

Actually now that I think a little further about it… Basically any enemy character (except their tank) can kill you instantly if you’re not behind your tank in GM… Even Supports (Bap).

So why aren’t you just complaining about everything in general?

Pick Dva. Use DM. Problem solved.
Pick Sigma. Use grasp. Problem solved.
Pick Genji. Use deflect. Problem solved.

Or. You know. Complain about an ability that has worked the same for the past 2 years, and wasn’t an issue.

Uh, no they can’t? Orisa literally gets you killed from behind cover by removing control of your hero for a second at range. Widowmaker just reaches out and you’re dead. Pretty much everything else you have time to react even if you don’t react until you’re already under fire. What SR are you playing at? If it’s above wood-tier you should know that just general good movement habits make it pretty hard to just disintegrate against most attackers.

If this was removed then just pull people up off the ground then to whatwhat reproduce the effect.

You still have air control in that case. I don’t think you realize just how ludicrously powerful the paralyze is in terms of making someone easy to hit.

Also seems to be pretty hard to see the orb coming your way, and move out of its range.
I mean, even a bronze can do that, probably.

??? The orb is easy to see but very fast compared to movement. You have to be moving a second before she fires it to even have a chance of escaping.

When I play Orisa I start the first Assault map engage by rush halting the most likely dps lurking spot as (or before) I round the first corner and they get to see what we’re playing. So many fights end with a free first pick because there’s literally not enough time to move out of the way from the moment you see Orisa.

Very limited control. pretty much every hero’s only option is to just fall while shooting your weapon.

Like I said. It’s fine for the ability to still exist. Just because the original poster is insane and thinks everyone just doesn’t want Orisa to be viable doesn’t mean I’m out to delete her. As you’re pointing out it’ll still be super strong without the paralyze. It just won’t be “oh I can’t move for a second so I guess I die” in every situation.

As mentioned before, this ability has been IN THE GAME for more than 2 years and hasn’t posed a problem.

Since it’s the loss of control you’re talking about, why aren’t you also complaining about:

Doomfist Punch
Doomfist uppercut
Mei Freeze
Rein Charge
Sigma Ult
Winston Ult
Sombra Hack

Surely according to your “GM” logic, these characters are all super overpowered too then? What since they make it so you:
