Not going to lie, I definitely hate when an entire community is expecting answers regarding literally anything and they only respond to a post that is basically thanking them for the great work they did years ago. You do not deserve harassment, but it disgusts me and I can understand why people took it out of context.

You didn’t to anything wrong, there’s no need to apologize. I mean, a lot of “Thank You Devs/Blizzard” threads do come across as butt kissing, but whatever. Seems like the person that was upset is some dopey Mercy main, I’m not holding what she says in high regard.

The video that Aria put out specifically targeted Tom Powers, not Pineapple. In fact, I don’t even think she mentioned Pineapple at all in the video. It’s only really talking about how the staff don’t respond to any of the major glaring issues that the OW forums are discussing, but take the time out of their day to go post in a thank you thread as if they don’t even acknowledge the problems of their game.

Never checked my profile did you? You know what they say about assumptions. There’s no need for childish accusations about any part of the community, it just makes you look immature. You have issues with the game, then state those issues and leave other players out of it. The moment you have to put down anyone just to make any kind of argument you lose the right to be taken seriously.
Also if you are going to quote me at the very least use it in context please.

Look OP don’t feel bad about it. You shouldn’t have to apologize either. You showed appreciation for the game and the devs and tried to spread some positivity. That is really needed here and all over. I used to be more positive, but I haven’t been too active lately because life has got me down a bit recently. Keep it up and keep being positive. You got this.

Tom Powers is the community manager. He does not balance the game.
Him replying means nothing. Same for Michael Chu.
And you don’t see Geoff responding to nonsense.
I physically cannot stand her voice so I won’t watch the video, but I’m guessing she was complaining that Tom Powers replied to a nice thread instead of a Mercy thread or whatever.
That’s just stupid.
