Easy. Even I hate the state of Mercy, but name calling and such will not fix it. Time and effort will.

Would like to say this; these are fun and should be up on here more often becuase it’s nice to read other than " [insert character here] is OP/Broken"-“Something Something with Comp”-“[insert bug that hasn’t been fixed and it’s been a year since they’ve been here]”- “[insert bug fix that feels more like a nerf]”.
(since I didn’t mention it in my response)
HOWEVER if the devs have been radio silenced for for an extended period, pop to respond, pop off, and radio silenced again then that would be frustrating; and where I would find my annoyance.

Whichever thread Tom responded to got the bullet.
Some (not all) mercy players are unhappy and want everyone else to be as unhappy as them. It’s dumb and accomplishes nothing but toxicity. You did nothing wrong OP, you made a nice positive thread!
I don’t think I want to know what those gems say.
I thought most people were going after Tom for using the thread as a way to just stroke the OW Team’s ego.

I think that before getting triggered you have to see the situation as a whole,
Like i get that you can feel offended but the problem is that…the devs just feel so disconeccted to whats actually happening, Their like in their own little “OWL” bubble,
its annoying really, as individuals they can just keep ignoring and ignoring whathever we said
so i think we need to finally, STOP fighting eachother, and band together and pop that “dev bubble” they are in and hit them in the face with a real reality check in the face
Pineapple dude you got nothing to really apologize for, most of the hate I have seen on the forums has been more directed at tom than anyone.
Your post was fine dude don’t worry about it.
However I do got to say that there are some really dang toxic folks in the crowd tonight. Pushing blame onto someone else isn’t going to make the fighting stop and we all need to calm down and be civil here.

Why are we blaming only one group of people for this. Everyone on the forums are toxic. Not just the Mercy players.
Don’t. Screw all the people who got upset. You were a positive force in a storm of negativity. You’re great. If anyone’s upset, they’re at fault.

No I do not get off when talking down to Mercy players, you guys just get triggered quite easily that teasing you is sorta fun.
My deal? I am a frustrated Reinhardt main, so I come to the forum to make meme posts.
People are upset because it is natural. When you keep asking for the one thing the devs have no intention to reintroduce in the near future, it gets spammy. And yeah, as I mentioned above, there is a reasons why the devs rarely uses our suggestion as directions to change the game. But they do it anyways:
- Hog was too oppressive? They nerf him, and then buff him to be more of a tank instead of a 600 DPS
- Don’t get me starts on the D.VA debacle.
- Doomfist’s inital RP hitbox was gianormous, so it was “rebalanced”. And rebuff
- Many begs for a new healer, we got 2 new healers in Moira and Brigitte.
- Various bug fixes, and the PTR patches are going live tomorrow which get rids of many bugs with Reinhardt and Sombra (which many have beg for months on end).
- And so on,…
I made a guess on Aria Rose followers to be Mercy fanatics (yes, I call them that, it is better than cultists), and somehow that got you triggered? Man,
You just prove your own words.

I can’t link other threads or I will get in trouble, but very recently a post was made by a certain mercy main saying they were boycotting her nerfed abilities and when I said it would hurt her team she said good, I won’t stop till everyone is as miserable as me. Obviously most mercy players are not like that, just a few grumpy individuals. Don’t want OP to let them get to him, he was being positive and shouldn’t get backlash for it.
