MR vs OW; Casual vs Competitive, Which is more popular?

It does.
The two GTA Vs are the same game. It’s just the One X and Series X versions separated.

Oh cool it moved up.
So now it’s 8th.
It’s back to its peak.

It managed to reach 3rd on PS at some point, beating out Roblox or Minecraft, so here’s hoping it reaches that too. Can’t imagine it’ll reach 600k on Steam again though.

It is.

Overwatch was GOTY when it was released. Thats another hard fact.

Whats up with MR tho ?

At the end of the day, if you don’t want to think that OW2 is doing poorly on console, that’s fine.

I think it is, and I’m surprised at how poorly it’s doing.

Yeah it was, and it was amazing, it no longer is. More facts coming your way.

See it’s arguments like this.

What a nothing-sandwich. ANd it was OW1 that was game of the year. OW2’s claim to fame is being one of the lowest rated games of all time on Steam. :fireworks:

Sorry, one of the lowest rated games of all time anywhere that allows ratings, I should say. Actually, I just looked at PS Store, it’s rated highly there. So console ratings like it I guess.

More dishonesty too, nice.

Again dude, you are comparing games on different stages in life and showing ranks and numbers like its clever. Whats next? Comparing CGI in movies from 1995 vs 2025 too ?

Bud. Compare YEAR 1 game X vs YEAR 1 game Z. Thats the fair comparison.

And yes:

Yes it is impressive. Are you dense?
My guy the game is NINE years old, being a Multiplayer PvP FPS.

Not many games do that. Come back when MR is on that stage and do the comparison.

A 9/2.5 year old game still sitting in the top 20-15 is not that poor.

MR can’t have gotten GOTY because it released too late to be in last years selections lol

“Dishonesty” because you don’t agree with my opinion it’s no longer a great game?

Are you high? lmao

I’m not doing that, other people did. I was responding to it.

You’re dense thinking OW1 and 2 are the same game first of all.

And second of all, OW2’s console rating isn’t impressive to me, you can disagree if you’d like, but I’m entitled to my opinion. And that’s the facts my bro.

It’s not 9 it’s the latter, but I disagree, Apex is old, Fortnite is old, it’s doing worse than Apex.

Again, if you think it’s impressive, you do you, I don’t think it is.

It probably would have won. I loved Astrobot, it was a great game and a lot of fun, but Mahvel would have ran it over with those dump trucks.

Oh now he is playing dumb, cool.

No, clever guy.
Because you are doing unfair comparisons and you know it.

No.
You are using actual numbers and throwing an unfair comparison to “win” a point (you didn’t though).

Thanks for proving you are being dishonest with this sentence

My guy, OW2 has that name because it was supposed to have PvE and it was cancelled.
Are you going to pretend that 5v5 “magically” makes it a NEW game? like its not 97% the same?

You know what they say! when getting called out , hit them up with more bad faith arguments! that will work

Literally just responding to your comments bruh.

I know it? damn, I guess if you say it, it must be true huh?

Again, I guess if you say it, it must be true. Seems like you know more about my actions then I do apparently.

Yes, “dishonest” because OW1 and OW2 aren’t separate games.

Nice one bro.

It literally is a different game…

Can you go and access OW1? no, you can’t because it’s gone.

Even the OW1 events in OW2 felt different because OW2 is on an upgraded version of the engine.

It’s a different game lmao.

You’re actually insane lmao

5v5 is a big difference though. Oh it’s 97% the same game is pure bad faith sentiment. Buffing tanks to stand as the only tank on the team changed things a lot. Season 9 changed things a lot. Perks changes things.

OW1 and OW2 are just not the same game. OW2 is a disappointing sequel. A very barebones sequel although its at least making some headway there finally.

But playing support in OW1 changed in OW2. Playing tank in OW1 changed in OW2. DPS became more relevant, especially with passives. Point is, even from day 1, OW2 didn’t play the same way as OW1. Sure some things are the same on a macro level, but that’s another bad faith argument, zoom out far enough and every shooter is basically the “same”

Emma Frost would carry that GOTY award single-handedly.

And I don’t mean game of the year, I mean GYATTT of the year.

Keep throwing “lmaos” if you want but you still haven’t refuted anything. Just replied for the sake of replying.

Glad you admit that “lmao”

Damn you totally “win” with this one.

… if only the reason why you can’t its because its literally the same game + 2 alterations only. Nice try though :-1:

Im sorry that you unironically believe this to be true, but we are talking about “facts” (like the clever guy likes to call them) and what I said is factual. Not up for debate :man_shrugging:

Again, FACTS still remain:

Thats all there is :man_shrugging:

Yes, insane people don’t usually do well with logic. lmao

More insanity people. Believing sarcasm is reality.

And finally, the complete rejection of reality, believing that OW1 and 2 aren’t separate games.

The use of lmao also seems to be a trigger to those who don’t have a complete grip on reality.

This warrants further investigation.

lmao.

Don’t be, I’m sorry you can’t see it. It’s kind of easy to notice.

I am at least.

But it isn’t. Different engine. Different audio. Different heroes in the game. Different modes. Passives. Perks. Stadium eventually. Changes to core aspects of each role. And if you want to get real wild, we can start talking about all the things that got removed going from OW2 to OW1 and add that to the differences pile.

What you said is fitting a point of view as you see it. Now that’s fine, brother, but at least admit it’s in your opinion and don’t embarass me or yourself by calling it fact.

Yes, OW2 being top 20 or top 25 is quite good I’d say. Agreed on that one.

Nice projection bud.

Oh you didn’t get that I was using your “sarcasm” to expose the dishonesty of your point, OOF.

Yep totally separate games, not literally the same one.
Definitely someone that played OW1 could not play OW2 because its a different world. Yep, they would have to definitely relearn the entire game. Sure bud, sure :+1:

Your “lmao” thing is quite unhinged but entertaining, keep the meme up if that floats your boat

Not really but live your dream

Its not an opinion my guy. If the PvE release wasn’t backtracked / cancelled, those modifications you are listing would have come to OW1 :man_facepalming:

And that is the whole point.
Besides the dishonest unfair comparison of Mr lmao out there, who no one really believes.

The mind is losing it’s grip even more on reality. It’s beginning to believe that everyone else is like them.

I guess it must do so as a survival mechanism?

After all how do you survive in a world that you can no longer recognize unless you believe nobody else can recognize it either.

Interesting. It’s believed it made any coherent points and is trying to convince the rational mind that it’s just using sarcasm as well?

I think more study is warranted.

This believe hasn’t left the subject. In fact it’s strengthened.

Further study indicates this won’t change as their grip on reality worsens.

Unsure of why lmao seems to trigger the subject, perhaps it’s afraid?

lmao.

Some people that claim overwatch is dying sure do like to spend an inordinate amount of time on the forums of said dying game rather than play what they like like a normal person

Supports and tanks had to. Not the ENTIRE game, but they had to relearn how to play in 5v5 and going from the changes from OW1 to OW2.

Yeah, it’s weird, no reason to gloat about a game dying if you don’t care about it.
