Yeah I’ve noticed this too. Generally, people who say she’s “fine and fun” either don’t play her much or only play her if the team really needs a support.
This is how I would want Mercy changed. Break down Valkyrie into 2 abilities and put Resurrect onto her ultimate again.
Doesn’t mean you need to spam the forums with the same points over and over either, just keep a thread alive and it’ll stay on the front page without creating spam on the front page from all the Brigitte threads

“Your fun is not my problem” is how your post should be translated, and trust me when I say what goes around, comes around.
It’s sad when people who have mained Mercy since launch are being told to stop playing her because of poor game design and negligence to community feedback.
There is no way that people are not burned out of Mercy after playing her for 500 hours.
As someone who just flexes occasionally, I prefer new Mercy.
I even have the golden pistol.
what you “main” doesnt really matter. no one cares if you used to like mercy.
they updated mercy to make her more balanced. they succeeded. they are happy with her.
now you have a choice. if you don’t like mercy, then just play one of the other 26 heroes. they are fun. mercy just isn’t for you anymore. move on.
or you can just keep complaining about mercy every day for the rest of your life instead of, i dunno, fixing the issue yourself by moving onto something new.

You can’t make something more balanced if it was perfectly balanced in the first place. She was, and is now, statistically balanced.
Only 6 are viable right now (again, poor game design) and I don’t like any of them.
Though I will say that I’m hoping to main Ana when she is eventually brought out of trash tier.
Ignoring the problem and “moving on” isn’t fixing the problem. That’s just admitting defeat.

except i don’t only play one hero and if they ever change a hero i enjoy, i have the emotional maturity to just not play it and move on.
its a game. its an elective form of entertainment. if you’re not being entertained by it, then why not find something else that does?

i personally, quit the game for a few months because of hide+rez. it was stupid. glad its gone.

Mercy was never fun, and never will be, as is the case with most toons that sport a kindergarten level of difficulty.
