It wasn’t just the damage boost that was an issue. Her movement was also an issue. A 1.5 second cooldown on GA meant she was way too mobile, at least now there’s a small window of downtime where she can be dived/killed.
It’s fun to play an OP character but she needed the cooldown increase and it shouldn’t be reversed.

Yeah, for years her mobility and boost weren’t a problem. Only when a busted hypermobile DPS hero made an appearance somehow Mercy became meta. Hero that Blizzard has repeatedly failed to nerf now. Hmmmmmm. I really wonder what happened there…
