More than 600 lootbox

Hello Blizzard, I got more than 600 lootbox.
Can you help me not to spend 50 min opening them all ?

I think you can just place something on your spacebar then go watch a movie lol

You could have just opened them as you earned them

This gets kind of depressing. Spending time to level up and then having a box give you all repeats. Or randomly getting one and then also feeling let down as you get four repeats.

I don’t think just pressing spacebar opens them, but I could be wrong. I have over 200 lootboxes that I just don’t want to open, and I tried doing a ā€˜speed open’ once - I had to click a lot of buttons.

I wish there was an ā€˜open all’ feature, I shouldn’t have to waste my time on something I don’t even want to participate in, but I do want them to be open and done with. Sitting through the whole ridiculous animation every time though is asking too much. It should be a fun, but optional addition. The way it’s required makes me feel like they’re actively trying to get me hooked on the ThRilLL of gambling.

You’re right, but I didn’t  .

I already asked for that feature long time ago.
I guess it goes against user experience.

It will open all of one type of loot box. So if you have 40 normal and 20 Christmas loot boxes, you can set something on spacebar and it will open the 40 boxes. Then, you will have to move over to the Christmas boxes and have something sit on Spacebar again.

Ah. Still obnoxious, but maybe I’ll give it a shot some time, idk. I tend to like… using… my computer when I’m at it. Not sitting here waiting for something to finish. Especially when they could just as easily make an ā€˜open all’ feature lol.

I mean I know it’s a bit tinfoil hat but watching all these game companies working so hard to buy research from Casino’s and all the legal nonsense going on in countries trying to establish Lootboxes as gambling, the mere fact that there ISN’T a way to bypass all the animations makes me feel… A bit suspicious? But it could just as easily be an oversight, I suppose.

Regardless, I wish there was an open all feature. Lootboxes don’t need that kind of time investment.

Well if it’s anything like trading on Steam trading over 500 keys on steam has a big delay of like 5+ mins, so it’s probably why they don’t wanna do it as this will be in game and not on their app

I think open 5 or 10 at a time would be fine

Obnoxious, when you don’t care about it.
Addictive when you care.

Here comes the commerical logic.
Who could blame blizzard.

I guess I’ll just make a script to solve it.
Luckily, it’s my job to create such kind of scripts

I’ll share it on GitHub, for those who are technically capable (also, I don’t want to bypass Bli²’s commercial logic).

Well placing something on your space bar works too, I just tried it in game lol and opened the lootboxes I had

Well yeah they’re repeats but you get credits. If that’s too much to ask, to open one lootbox as you earn them, I dunno what to tell you

I’m too lazy to press so much buttons  .

You could tell me : ā€œhow the heck can I open all my lootbox at once, promote IT skills and still enjoy blizzard great design on a daily basisā€ .

Don’t worry I won’t share any reverse engineering of the game on GitHub.
I like this game way too much.
Will be just dumb slow coordinate based clicking…

I can not for the life of me understand why blizzard has not implemented an open all by now. How hard could it be? The contents of the box is pre-determined when you get the box, not when it is opened, so just dump them all into the collections.

Why does it matter? Just open lootboxes when you want the credits for a skin or smthn.

no no u don’t press anything, just place a mug or something heavy on spacebar key

As a console player with like 600 regular boxes alone, I’m envious you can just hold a button and auto clear them.

On controller we have to release the button before reholding it to open each new box.

They won’t do this, but if they did I really hope they make it only the box type you are on, and not open ALL boxes. I’m collecting special boxes and wouldn’t use it if they popped too, but I’d love to clear out my hundreds of 100% duplicate regular boxes.

Only works for the same kind of lootbox.
Some of my lootboxes are more than 6 years old  .

Then do it for 1 type, then after change to the next type and repeat process this is only method of doing it without putting much effort lol

Or they can use an auto clicker.
