well yeah they get thousand of not millions of dollars to ā€œaccidentally lose or shredā€ some documents and then retire on an island some where. Honestly I donā€™t think anything will happen unless Blizzard decides to throw a few people under the bus to save themselves.

When it comes to corporate crimes there is no justice, just settlements and paychecks if your lucky. Years of legal feeā€™s if your not.

Im surprised that the companies caught on similar types of employee abuse (namely Riot, Ubisoft and there was two more i donā€™t remember) donā€™t point fingers at each other.

Lets be honest every company abuses their employeeā€™s to some degree once they get big enough. It might not be sexual abuse, but unpaid over time. Working 14+ hour days, denying pay raises and hiring upper management positions that have no idea how to do the job based upon their friends/dating said person.

To a degree I kind of think way to much focus is on the sexual abuse and not nearly enough on the horrendous work hours and other crunch related issues the entire industry thrives on.

Edit: Though I will admit I grew tired of the "horrible crunch " stories in gaming we had over the last few years. At some point you just have to say ā€œthey knew what they were getting intoā€ when deciding to join a gaming company.

That and people ignore nearly every other industry that has crunch and just focuses on gaming.

bruh even california stepped in to prevent blizzard from shredding the evidence :skull_and_crossbones::skull_and_crossbones:

Rumor has it that thereā€™s documents related to the court case that candidly describe every major dev team at Blizzard thinks their community is stupid and ignores their feedback out of arrogance.

I donā€™t mean to type that as a sucker punch, Iā€™m genuinely curious. Has there been a dump anywhere or is there public access to some of these documents? I can dig through them as a pastime

As far as i know some of them are public access, some of them are not. I havenā€™t read through them yet.

Next there is going to be some sort of satanic cult in the high ranks of Blizzard.

This lawsuit overall is a major reason why OW2 is getting rushed than investors problem

if OW is not getting rushed it will never be released. Has been in development for 4 years apparently and they still have nothing interesting to show.

The lack of PvE footage is frightening.

Blizzard really insists on digging deeper into their hole huh?

Letā€™s be honest here. That would hardly be surprising, even if Blizzgate had never happened.

Also true and itā€™s totally not looking promising right now

4 years that we know of, for what looks to be like a DLC or expansion. Not a full game. Just a minor engine upgrade (while downgrading to 5 players) and some PVE modes we have dubious information about given Blizzards past history of PVE events I am not overly optimistic.

Oh and talk about adding in more forms of Micro transactions of course. But it will be rushed out so all the Excutives can get their bonuses for itā€™s sales figures before they get fired or retire to avoid prosecution.

Donā€™t forget downgrading the uniqueness of the game and halting all support for OW1 in the mean time. OW2 has been easily the worst thing to happen to OW ever.

True, it would just be everything to obtain a direct reference and proof of how stubborn and arrogant the devs are. It really would be the perfect ā€˜gotchaā€™ receipt to all of those people who are like: stop complaining about an alpha !1!1!1!1!

Yup the healing nerfs, dmg boost and in general turning OW into a generic FPS shooter with about a time to kill to match Call of Duty seems to be the goal.

Honestly I would be fine with the healing nerfs if dps was also nerfed, I feel the gameā€™s health barā€™s yoyo too much and a reduction in healing is a good thing paired with a nerf to DPS. But thinking that a flat healing nerf is good is almost laughably out of touch.

The sad thing is healing barely matters in OW unless you double team a single tank with two supports or something. In response to Goats and many other support/tank related issues tank busters and snipers have been buffed through the roof over the last few years.

There is very few DPS who canā€™t at least two shot a 200hp hero. This tends to mean heals mean next to nothing unless you can heal over half a persons HP in under the second or two it takes to land a second shot. This only gets worse as you go up in ranks and people are far less likely to miss several shots in a row.

Never mind snipers like Hanzo or Widow that can just one shot people.
