The true question is if will other studios separate from Activision first or Activision will fall apart before that?
this is what cancel culture looks like, someone sends a post, people see and rage and wala, we want people to step down. I´m not denying these things happened, I’m just pointing how that this is how it happens when we hear something about someone.
Wasnt a lot of the problematic blizzard folks that covered a lot of this stuff a part of it too? Or am i confusing it for chris metzen’s company…
cancel culture is histrionic, this is much more ancient. It’s an angry mob lashing out at an elites incompetency and arrogance. Cost of living is rising. The poverty line is enjoying a feast. Winter is forecasted to be even worse than how it is now. The general public will be radicalized if this continues.
CEOs aren’t the top of the food chain. It’s a cesspool of diverse special interest groups.
Kotick is just the beginning, I wonder who’s next.

They have tons of levers to pull to sustain and grow the company. Expect a near-full replacement of staff though.

China is not going to stop its citizens from making money especially abroad.
China suppresses information but that is when it is in the best interest of China to do so. In this case doing so would hinder the ability for them to make money and that is to the detriment of those people and by extension China as a whole.
