at this point, they should have the right to own this game, same with other blizzard games and these people can just pump out content that they want to give, but the higher-ups say no.
Kotick threatening to have someone killed isnât exactly what I was expecting when I opened this thread.
Absolutely insane if true. Really cements the fact that anyone who holds that much power is just completely devoid of human emotion.
Thatâs seems to be every CEO thoughâŚ.
Looking at Amazon CEO In particular
Likely still people asleep though who havenât heard.
If there is one rule of Wall Street it is that it never sleeps and reactions happen instantly (and then counter reactions and reactions to the reactions happen).
But Blizz money isnât just there rightâŚ

Something something CEO positions attract sociopaths
keep in mind that this is Wall Street that is spreading this news. I rather have other sources than a corrupted one.
Exactly. Have you seen ceos try and interact with other humans? They act like robots, completely unaware of anything outside of their own personal gain. Like that creepy video the facebook man did, or elon when bernie told him to pay taxes.
They have no connection to people. All they have is money and a desire for more.
Honestly, it isnât that surprising apart from Bobby threatening people like heâs a mafia boss. Itâd be funny if the situation wasnât so sad. Just a pathetic, bizarre power trip from someone who clearly never shouldâve had it in the first place.

Recalling something about China
If news broke 3am US the after hours trading would happen instantly. 24 hours a day the market is instantly ready to react. It doesnât sleep and isnât slow to react as being slow is not how you make money.
The reaction to the news is over and now it is over to the reaction to the reaction.
Wonder if there are going to be actual consequences or will they keep pretending everything is fine even as they try to scrub their games clean to appear good.
There should be, but probably not gonna happen.
one thing for sure, this post will be 404 tomorrow, unless lazy.
Itâs not surprising that leadership knew and was even involved. Crap like that never happens in a vacuum.
WSJ is not actual news so Iâm gonna pass on this until something real comes up
canât wait to see blizzardâs next PR move to try to bury the issues once more
Time for OW team to cut ties with Blizzard and be their own separate company.
While thatâs not possible for reasons others have pointed out, I would absolutely love for Blizzard to sell off the OW property to someone else.
When i want to update my timeline but for some reason my forum level resetted⌠Sigh

Big update, they are starting a new walkout
Then again likely nothing change because of the info control in China.
They should do more. A walkout at the main Activision studio demanding Kotick to step down
