Miss, miss *E* "pop pop pop" kill

Scatter arrow: 450 damage if all shards land

Hog: 600 hp
Rein: 500 HP with 200 of it being armor
Dva: 600HP with 200 armor
Winston: 500HP with 100 armor
Hammond: 600HP with 100 armor

So when you say scatrer could oneshot “literally every tank,” what you really mean is “not even half the tank roster?”

You don’t even need Hanzo experience to know this. Just wiki and grade school math

what? what other ability does he have that qualifies? he uses a bow?

I hit nothing with storm arrows, thats why i don’t use them.
I’d can live without them.

He is good on basically every range against every hero and it is to easy to oneshot others.

Scatter was an occasional death, storm arrows is a guarantee.

Would love scatter back.

People actually trying to suggest scatter was broken for a hero who was literally considered a throw pick at the time?

Scatter arrow was bad vs most of the roster but was a near 100% one shot vs Orisa, slightly lower vs Zarya and with any follow up meant other tanks would likely be deleted.

They flipped it with Storm arrow, which is good vs everyone with or without luck.

@Quixotic
I disagree.

Hanzo shouldn’t have charged shots. He shouldn’t be a sniper if he’s going to be deadly at every range. It’s like if Widow’s SMG did double damage.

I am pretty sure that when hanzo get nerfed, this hateful mob will altogether jump on torb or cree, just because you guys need to release your hate on someone, not willing to admit that issue is in you. And you will also keep loosing to nerfed hanzos, even if they are 100 hp non headshot 30% move speed turrets.

hanzo is ugly and dry, get rid

Mechanically speaking, Scatter Arrow was more interesting and fit the flow of Hanzo’s gameplay better than Storm Arrow. The only problem it ever had was that it did too much damage when used to shoot the floor in front of an enemy. All they had to do was give him his leap and nerf the damage of scatter projectiles to 50 (from 75), and Hanzo would have been in a great spot.

Another person who believes hanzo’s arrow hitboxes are massive.

sigh

Please inform yourself better in future.

The perception of Hanzo’s arrows being massive is because they can one-shot. Even though Mercy and D.Va can technically hit head-shots easier, all such a hit does is reduce the victim’s health by a larger amount, but not insta-kill.

Otherwise you’d have the same outrage on these forums for those, too.

For a sniper to be perceived as fair, his hit resolution really needs to be precise.

You aren’t the only one.

With all due respect. A shot being powerful and a shot having a large hitbox are two completely different things.

The person I quoted clearly said the “arrows being massive”. As in the actual arrows themselves.

That is a good point… Maybe I do want Hanzo to stay broken so they leave McCree alone.

Has anyone ever measured the size of the hitboxes.

I know that Hanzo’s (and Genji’s) projectiles has the smallest hitboxes, but how small is it compared with other projectiles and how big is it compared with hitscan?

I’m also curious to the shape of the hitbox. Is it a box on the tip of his arrow or is the entire arrow covered?

It’s significantly larger than hitscan.

True, but how much larger?
