There’s always a mercy in every game since pink mercy came out, on top of that I think they’re trolling.
I pick Doom, the others pick Sombra and Tracer, while one of the support instalocks Mercy.
It’s worse when the opponents play dive themselves and mercy still doesn’t switch to another hero.
It gets even worse when you have “two” mercy mains in the support role, a fight is guaranteed.
Can we finally nerf mercy so badly that she is forgotten?

No, people just have Mercyphobia because there’s a huge bandwagon and it’s deemed as acceptable to be this way.
If you need offensive pressure because your DPS are incompetent and you have a Mercy main pocketing useless DPS… It can definitely get slightly annoying. Not going to lie. Times I wish I could just take their gun and use it myself.

This is pretty much what keeps Mercy from being too strong. She’s good in spite of her lack of agency.
Weird topic OP. I two-trick the tank role, one of them is DF. Mercy is my second favorite support I like to see when Dooming. She’s probably the best at staying with him, it just takes a very skilled tinkerbell to pocket him.
Even if youre not getting pocketed, she’s still one of the best at reaching him when he needs help.
Even if she gets nerfed to do negative healing and damage boost changed to receive extra damage she would still one of the most played heroes. Remember that you are going to get a Mercy on your team frequently, be careful when you ask for nerfs, you are going to suffer them too
