Mercy needs her 60 hp/s back

Agreed. Many changes across the board from supports to dps have been made since they made it 50hps.

Making it 60 again wouldn’t be as bad as some people are thinking.

If 60 is too much and 50 is too little, how about 55?
Then Valk could have 65, perhaps even 70 hps.

Sounds amazing if the Devs do that Mercy will be in a healthy state.

i would be fine with that

at 60hps? Nah, especially not if goats is alive and not until theres so much burst dmg in the game.
Even at 60hps Mercy takes a century to heal tanks.

The keyword here is “feel”.

But how is she statically?

True. Even 60 hps was just below that line, where tanks take way too long to heal.

No group speed boost and he shouldn’t have AoE healing. that’s not raising the support skill it’s making them useless in lucio case.

No mercy had the best heals after ana nerfs and healing buff to 60. Even with Moira… That lasted from season 4 to her healing reduction nerf.

She spends most of the time healing, unlike Ana or Moira, that have to hit enemies/reload/recharge.

But she also doesn’t deal damage like the other main healers. The devs have forced mercy into this middle ground between ana and Moira.

Which is a mistake, as she lacks multitasking.

But she has the best mobility of all the main healers so there’s that.

Factually, Mercy can deal damage 4 different ways, and good Mercy players make use of these when dealing damage is the best option in the given situation

“Bu…bu…but Mercy is a pacifist!”
I don’t think many people realise how good Mercy’s gun is, specially in valk.

Still relevant, as battle Mercy has not been touched.

Also it makes NO DIFFERENCE how Mercy FEELS to play, its all about statistics.

Her pistol is vastly underrated, imo, by most players

Lucio has the best general mobility of the supports, and Moira has the best mobility ability of the “main healers” (fade removes status effects and grants invulnerability + invisibility + graviton escape). Mercy just has a low cool-down on a team dependent ability which leaves her visible and vulnerable while having no effect on status ailments.

Yeah i gotta agree with op on this one

Ive came around to playing a lot of support lately, and Mercy just feels really boring and unrewarding to play. With Ana, when you arent that good with aim but you were able to keep that Rein alive because you were able to hit just enough shots so he doesnt die, thats rewarding. Popping the trans at the right moment savin yo team, thats rewarding.

Holding LMB and the tank still dies to a DPS that aint desinged to be a tank buster, now thats… idk, kinda lame. She cant boost her healing (I think thatd be great tho) and has only one ability to heal. granted, zen and lucio also only have one, but atleast they can do somethin else as they heal. Mercy is just standin there, unable to do anything else other than giving a mere 50hp/s to someone.

and forget about her bein able to be a solo main healer with one other… naw dog, that aint workin out. Yall need two main healers if one is mercy.

Also, i think she feels so bad to play because the gama shifted towards burst damage, away from sustained damage. And Mercy gives sustained healing. Thats the problem.

tanks do need to be way more careful in comps when mercy is picked as the main healer, but the same can be said about an ana with dps heroes - they’re small and hard to hit.

each main healer has an ideal comp and they struggle a bit outside of it. even after all of mercy’s changes and nerfs she still heals more than any other healer in the game, she doesn’t need her 60hps back.

Her biggest strengths are consistency and unlimited resources, both of which you left out. That’s what lets Mercy consistently out-heal everybody outside of niche, tank-heavy comps built around group heals. She absolutely does not need 60 HPS back. She’s very strong as she is now.
