You have to prioritize differently, yes, but I feel that where she is with HP is okay.
I’m still getting just about 10K heals each QP
The general argument is that the community wants you to play any other healer but her. Dont worry they say she’s fine but they also say you shouldn’t use her.
She’s a main healer that has been nerfed to be an off-healer but has no added benefits in her kit that most off healers have like dmg and healing at the same time.
It’s not the hero that is bad it’s you…at least thats all I get from what the community keeps saying.

I honestly don’t even know why they nerfed it when they buffed all the other healers (With The Exception of Brigitte Who Got a Nerf in The Support Patch). Her pickrate wasn’t even that high, but then again 60 HPS still doesn’t fix her problem of being probably the most boring hero rn.
I think she just needs healing acceleration, like the Medic from TF2.
That would increase her Healing and give her a more defined niche by giving her synergy with heroes who can block damage.

Use a different healer for now. The changes to make Mercy bad were intentional.
My biggest disappointment with the change is that I love watching my teammates for clutch damage boosting moments (Hog hooks, Zen volleys, storm arrows, etc), it is a big part of what makes me feel engaged in the fight when I play Mercy. But now it feels like I spend noticeably more time tethered to people to finish healing them up.
If you mean, she’s still exceptionally good in the right hands, and subpar in the hands of those unwilling to learn her, then I agree fully.

Her pickrate was the highest and she was still a mandatory pick before the support changes were pushed to live.
Don’t know if it’s the optimal change they gave her, but her pickrate was high (10%+ in most tiers).
I’m actually interested in the idea of converting mercy beam to be like symmetra old beam where her initial heal is 40hp/s and ramp up to 60hp/s.
The other is to have her healing beam heals 80hp/s and ramp down to 40hp/s the longer she pockets a player. If she constantly heal the same target and stop healing them and heal them, the heal per second will resume where it left off. So if it slow down to 60hp/s, she stop healing them for 0.5s and resume healing them, it will not reset to 80hp/s but resume at 60hp/s and continue to ramp down.
To explain in detail, in order for the mercy to heal at 80hp/s, the target needs to meet 2 criteria:
I play almost all supports. Can confrim that zenyatta and ana is not fun when you solo play… you just insta die by enemy doom boi or flankers… literally cant do anything. Why dont people like when I play lucio is a mistery to me… I thought he is in an okay state now. I am stuck on Moira and its freaking boooooring… I dont want to tank because I think that is even more boring an you are extreeemly dependant on your team. And I dont want to DPS because this game is just not the game where I will ever touch dps again. Even though I played Unreal Tournament for 5 years an Jedi Knights for 2 years before… I play this game to team play and it feels like this game is becoming anything but a team game.
Yes meanwhile Ana is 10% in most tiers and nearly a must pick at you climb at a all-time high of 15.5%, I don’t see people throwing a riot about it because it’s Ana.
10% isn’t anywhere near a must pick, and even then the rework was a mistake. It caused numerous unacceptable things which could have been prevented but Blizzard always has to take the hard way with things and screw up the game before they get their “success.”
She’s not actually useless I prefer having her on my team imo, yall are just mad because she’s not the golden child of the healers anymore.
You clearly don"t know how to play her if you think she is “useless”. Learn to prioritize your healing.

Because generally, a hero who has only recently become must-pick is going to be - by the community’s perception, not saying this is my own view - much more acceptable than a hero who was a must-pick for nearly a year.
10% was a must-pick. The rework being a mistake is debatable. I’m not trying to dissuade of that view.
My point is, she did have a high pickrate. To say that she didn’t is just…not correct.
She should be buffed in a way which isn’t her healing. High healing values is the reason why Bio nade is OP and Heroes will low burst damage are less useful (why play Soldier when you can 1 shot as Widow).
