So now that we’ve established most Mei mains are blinded and bias and their opinion holds very little to no weight at all, validated by the balance team, what’s next for her? I assume they’re trying to make her less low skill/high reward.
What can help with this? Should her RMB have fall-off dmg or would it help more to remove the multi-freeze? There’s a few other options like reducing ult size, maybe length? Lets hear it!

I’d say her gun needs a rework.
Primary fire beam that deals 55 damage but does not have any form of CC, but she is given a resource that activates her freezing capabilities.
That’s the only idea I can come up with atm, I just think CC on a primary fire of all things is beyond stupid.

The opinion that Mei mains have no value what so ever on their feedback/opinion.
Honestly I really don’t think she needs a nerf. She’s basically sombra with her Freeze. On her own she has very little value, it only works in OWL right now because they have the team work to do something with it. You’ll notice Mei tends to have a Mcree following behind her, he’s the one doing all the killing.
But the biggest reason I don’t think any nerfs/buffs should really be discussed is the proposed solo tank idea. If that goes through any and all balance changes made previously will be as pointless and harmful as the anti goats changes once role Q came out.
Yeah, get outta here. All your experience on the exact hero in question means nothing!
It is funny in that if playing the hero means nothing, what other qualifications are there? Dying to said hero makes you an expert?

Hi, I’m a person with about… 20 minutes on Mei here. I think Mei is a lot closer to being balanced with her recent change. All I wanted was for her to not indefinitely trap my main tank. She needs minimal nerfs now, if she even needs them at all.
And if you’re curious: Doomfist is my main hero.
Ignore and move on guys.
It’s funny how people still look excuses to nerf her to the oblivion though.
It’s exposing how mad/bad they’re still when they get outplayed by her.

My thaughts? Idn i think its too late for any positive change to her. When they added in an AoE freeze to her kit, and released every new hero with a stun and a boop its too much to go against. stun simulator
