Mei is so broken its sad

Mei needs to have her freeze multiple targets nerfed. She is ridiculously overpowered and impossible to fight against. They need to figure out because its beyond acceptable.

You cannot play around her when the entire enemy team bunches up. What am i supposed to do as a solo tank against her when she is walking over the entire team?

Yea well I am sorry, I am not in the pros, so unless my entire team is coordinated to win OWL, she CAN be impossible for me to deal with as a Tank.

They should just revert all the changes she got to counter goats including multi freeze, the freeze damage buff, and the no fall off damage buff. Without all of those she would still be good in 2/2/2.

Multifreeze came in April 2018, GOATs didn’t exist until July 2018.

Why does Mei need to be ineffective in fights that are close range, but not 1v1?

I mean, I get that she needs nerfs.
âś… Mei: Slow duration 1.5sec -> 0.75sec

But I don’t understand the logic that she needs to be limited to 1v1 fights, when all the metas involve bunched up fights on the objective.

Solo tank does not mean 1v1. Nice assumption. I just want to play the game where I pop in and solo queue for a little bit, not needing to set up a coordinated assault with a put together team on a forum or website.

People throw “broken” around at the drop of a hat these days to the point its become meaningless. As a Mei player to a degree I would say:

Revert the drop-off buff on alt-fire - Mei needs to risk getting in close, that’s her play area and original design - not long range.

Ice-block needs its c/d increased, or healing nerfed a bit, not much but a bit. Rather have the longer c/d

That’s it.

I would rather keep her right click without fall off or with little falloff and remove multi freeze instead.
Ice Block imo should get reworked so it lasts shorter but heals more HPS, but comes out at roughly at the same healing total

Well and I as a support can’t do much against a Roadhog, so should we just call him broken as well? No becase I don’t engage him alone and stay with my team because this is a teamgame

I think the risk of getting in close to a group and getting multifreeze off is okay - she can only benefit if she’s in a group with it. People are way too hung up on it, most Mei’s hardly use it. If it was nearly as bad as people say that’s all you’d see, and you really don’t.

Ah, so That’s the secret.
It’s not like she’s got an ability that’s designed to separate tanks from their team for an easy instakill, and since tanks should really be at the front of their team making space anyway (especially with the barrier changes meaning you need to be more aggressive) Mei’s job is now the easiest one in the game to do effectively?

Mei has always been broken but now there is just an influx of mei’s thanks to double shields (now dead) and generally just abusing how low skill high reward the hero is.

There is no confirmation of me going in on mei alone so I’m not sure where this incorrect assumption is coming from. As a tank I’m front lining the team, and mei is able to tackle not only me but anyone near me.

Oh yah, it only took everyone years to figure out the Mei is broken somehow, including the pros that are supposed to be masters of this game.
