Itās true that McCree one of the best counters to many heroes with his stun. I thought maybe the stun nerf will be too much but heās back to where he was when his fire rate was slower, can only get one headshot with it, and also has a faster fire rate. I think heās fine for now. Heās still a good hero to pick, owl still uses him. Heās just weak to dive but that was always his weakness, to balance him out.
Tbh, even before the nerf I had a difficult time with doomfist but, from my point of view, doom is the problem.

FTH doesnāt confirm a kill either against heroes like Mei, Doomfist, Genji and Reaper. There just isnāt enough time before they can move and activate abilities. He literally only had the gun and the stun combo to protect himself against those that got too close and now he only has the gun. Expect his winrates to drop even more.
Flash is literally the only thing keeping him alive. Without it McCree is the easiest hero to kill after maybe Zenyatta. He crumbles if dove. Heroes like Ana, Widow and Hanzo will take his place.
Iām pretty sure OWL doesnāt have the CC nerfs yet.

So if your friends are better at playing other heroes and you cannot simple press E and win this means mccree needs BUFF ? Logic ?

He is literally still one of the best lmao.
A small stun nerf did not gut him, his damage and fire rate are still ridiculous.

One of the worst winrates in GM but yeah he is the best.
There has to be some hackers then because McCree was in the ban pool when the changes came live. Itās only possible to play him now when the ban ended today.
He could double headshot before the fire rate buff but canāt anymore.
Thatās a 1000 iq take. Widowmaker, Ashe and Hanzo all hit like a truck too. How do you think theyād do if you removed Coach Gun, Lunge & wallclimb and Grappling hook?

Iāve had no problem using Stun -> Fan to kill those characters, the last bullet doesnāt even need to land.
He could, but as with this flashbang nerf, the window is very tight. Itās not like it was reliable.
I admit his winrate is odd but his pickrate showed pretty clearly, he is not weak by any means.
And they called us Mercy Mains drama queens, after being mad for the the 50hps nerf and the ārealisticā boop changes, which made Mercy boop-able in valk.
But yeah ok, your beloved Mccree is now a throw pick because his tun lasts 0.15s less.

As a McCree mainā¦ This was literally the best nerf we could have gotten for him. It doesnt decrease his skill cap, keeps him viable, it just decreases the ācheeseā element of his kit. Now if they KEEP nerfing him, then Iāll have an issue.
