Mercy is still one of the most picked heroes in the game and she seems to be in a good spot when it comes to the stats. I will be the first to say that numbers don’t tell the whole story and it is perfectly possible that Mercy is not “fun” to play and something perhaps could be done about it, however, mass rez is not the solution and it’s not going to make her more fun for “everyone”, it might make her more fun to those who like mass rez, but for everyone else is going to be a nightmare.
If we want Mercy to be more “fun” then we need to come up with ideas on how to make her that without mass rez.
Let’s say this then. Imagine they did add Mass Res back into the game with invulnerability, NO LoS, and immediate cast time… How long until the forums start crying over it being “OP” or “Unfun”?
Sorry, but I don’t believe it will be added back. There are many reasons, and I won’t even bother to explain. This my personal opinion, so don’t @ me now.
Again, I’m not arguing anything.
Jeez just stop replying?
To answer your QUESTION Opinion:
The forums would be up in arms straight away if they said Mass Res was coming back.
It would also be up in arms straight away if they said Mass Res was NEVER coming back.
(even with tweaks)
EDIT: I’m not replying to you I was asking a question, nothing else.
She’s got a decent pickrate at bronze through platinum. Considering that she’s meant to be an entry level pick, that seems about right to me. She could use a bit of help but a dynamic shift on the level of Mass Resurrect reversion would not be the right choice and would likely cause more division than it fixes.
Actually, unfortunately, are stats are really bad at the moment. In low ranks, where she’s supposed to be good, she has similar stats to Ana, a high-skill hero and in the 3 highest ranks, she has the lowest winrate by a significant margin. She is definitely underpowered according to statistics.
Her Pickrate is under Moira’s and goes under Ana’s at Silver. And, her pickrate is negative across every rank, last time I checked. If she’s supposed to be such a low level hero, why are they doing so much better than her at the lowest ranks?
I don’t see how anyone is still arguing about the stats lol
We can all have opinions on what would FIX her, but the stats are very clear in the sense that shes currently…well…crap for a lack of a better word lol
New tank based around disrupting and simply not dying. Damage reduction CDs, personal defense CDs, low damage but disruptive attacks and mass rez as an ult.
Passive ability: -75% damage when crit.
This tank protects his/her team by drawing fire and has the ability to survive and negate damage.
How does this tank draw fire? Through the threat of mass rez.
Take mercy’s mass rez and greatly increase the range. Add in an effect that will teleport any spawned teammates that are still in your spawn so that missing the respawn window isn’t a huge deal.
I have no idea if this hero would work, or if they would be balanced, but the lack of mobility is better than the hide and seek gameplay mercy encouraged.
I can agree with you there. I think that’s one of the few things this community agrees upon regarding Mercy, which is actually… quite ground breaking. At the end of the day, no matter what we personally think she needs, something certainly needs to be done.

Personally, the buffs I’d include for her around an increase of her HPS to around 55-60HPS which would bring her more in line with Moira, as well as potential CC immunity during the initial cast of Valkyrie. The only reason why I would give it during the cast animation is due to the fact that most of the time when you cast Valkyrie you’re either on or close to the ground, which makes you incredibly vulnerable to something like Brig shield bash, so this would allow her to more safely get into the sky without an interruption.
I don’t know how, The guy renamed himself that to phrase to …Revert Mercy…and constantly makes posts about … Reverting Mercy. Someone might call that spam. I think they did, but the OP has hands in the pocket of some mods or something.
