Can I still merge my account on overwatch 2 since I didn’t do it on on overwatch 1 cuz I don’t want to lose everything because of me not knowing I had merge from overwatch 1
Clearly “in short” it does not mean we are good to go. So many people lost all their progression. Fix this asap!

I’m in a similar situation. Played overwatch pretty much only on playstation for a decent few years. I am certain I linked my account ages ago. When I opened overwatch 2 it asked for the phone QR code thing which I did but it didnt allow me to progress once I’d logged in online. When I tried to press X to continue it took me to a battle.net site in Japanese. Then when, I backed out of the site it showed a red error code (in Japanese) and asked me to restart the game. I did so and now the game runs fine but none of my progress is there and there is no ‘merge account’ option anywhere.

had almost around 300 hours in the game and a bunch of cosmetics, after the merge I don’t have anything, no hours played, no cosmetics, no nothing, pretty mad to be honest, though I hope it will be fixed.
Added info in edit: played in ps4 and never owned OW in pc, did the merge in ps5 just to be sure nothing would go wrong, get on the game, scan the qr code, complete the merge, get to the menu and I have nothing, I go over to pc to see if my stuff appears there but also no luck.
Update: merge has completed and I have some of my stuff, like I said before I had around 300 hours, now it says I have 113, my personal bests are different in a lot of stats, I used to have almost all the common skins except for echo, baptiste and sigma. Also missing some epic and legedary skins, emotes, victory posses, POTG intros, etc. It feels like they grabebd the progress from when I had only 113 hours played and they transfered that insted of the latest data. Really hope they fix it because they items I’m missing now cost al lot of money.
newer update: all my stats are gone except my overall hours, but they where already wrong so whatever. Each day closer to dropping the game, but I still have hope. update: my stats are back, they are still wrong but at least i have stats

I lost all my cosmetics and progress on anything I scanned the qr now on ps5 and ps4 version I have nothing

Ive got the same issue, linked my xbox and PC but dont have any skins or record of having played OW on either feelssad

i stopped playing overwatch 1 quite a while ago on ps4, i was level 200 and comes with tons of skins and tons of money spent on these skins, i wasn’t aware of this account merging thing and now i don’t know how do to recover all these skins, I searched on various forums but none of them gave me a concrete answer. Is there a way to get all the skins I had on my old overwatch ps4 account back?

I dont have the option on the ps5 version of the game but i got it on the ps4 one
So I missed some due date - what was this supposed due date supposed to affect anyway? Shouldn’t I still have my stuff now on PS4? Then I can just merge afterward. Someone please answer wtf the due date was for.

at this point i think we all missed the memo to transfer while it was still at overwatch 1… so far it seems like the people who’ve done that are having no problems rn
Wow that’s completely assinine. The data should still be there regardless of if we hit some mofo button. That’s bs to lose everything for not hitting a button when there’s 0 reason to require doing it at all.
If playstation allowed me to enter the menu to hit the button when I wasn’t on psplus it wouldn’t be an issue either, but I wasn’t going to pay that early for some moronic reason to hit a button before they close ow and for no reason at all delete everyone’s progress.

At least a blue said it was a bug, but maybe they don’t know what they’re talking about and everyone gets screwed by their incompetence. What was supposed to happen with excess loot boxes and the crafting credits/gold from before?
ive played ow 1 for years i got loads of skins on my ps4 account now im on ps5 all my skins and stuff are gone its like ive never played ow it thinks im a new player hope this gets fix asap because if not idk if im willing to grind again

True, concerns about merging are all correct. All my progress in Overwatch 1 didn’t transfered to Overwatch 2. I have a dozen gold guns, limited/legendary premium cosmetics, emotes, overwatch tokens, and overwatch coins. Kindly fix this blizzard ASAP.

lies. Ive lost all my OV1 items and things also. acting like im new to the game its BS tbh. Considering its a HUGE issue and effecting the majority of the playerbase this needs fixed tbh. crazy this is an issue

Same problem here. I played a LOT of overwatch 1, have multiple skins and cosmetics, and nothing was transferred. My PlayStation account has been linked to Battle.net for a long time. When I click “account merge” in OW2 on my ps4 nothing happens. Can you help?
