But yeah, possible story mode… my theory, hero 29 is last hero for a year might be confirmed.

No it’s because there is no lore and they’re just after people making up stories.
I think they gave up on that aspect of the franchise when they realised it wouldn’t make money and Fortnite has destroyed most of the interest in the game.
That has a high possibility now.
Why so? Nothing advanced. There’s history in Archives but minimal and the last cinematic gave us nothing new. Just papered over cracks in old ground.
That’s all there is now and will be.
I am guessing next year events are going to be different by the next Chinese new year.
Aka replaced with something new.
They literally said that’s not happening.
There’s nothing much of anything for OW on the Blizzcon schedule either.
They’ve got nothing.

No, they actually said they’re done with events and they’re not changing them.
You do realize you shouldn’t take them at their word. They also said there wasn’t gonna be a stealth hero. And literally the end of the next month they announced Sombra.
Keep on believing, but you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

They said nothing new for events.
They have nothing significant for Blizzcon.
They said straight up they got nothing new till next year and it’s another social feature.
The story hasn’t been advanced since I can’t even remember when.
The player base has collapsed in on itself with smurfs.
Fortnite is about 2 years ahead with console cross play while Blizz still lament not being able to share cosmetics.
The writing is on the wall.
Enjoy what we have, but don’t count on anything substantial in the future because it’s not coming.

Huh uh…And then some of us, don’t like Fortnite. Reminds them of a certain Minecraft mode too much and think it’s too advertised and ridiculous.
But this is purposed to be about Overwatch topic… so… put your spam elsewhere.
I never suggested I liked Fortnite, I’ve never played it. They just seem to be several steps ahead of Blizz on a lot of things.

They didn’t spam though…and Fortnite is relevant because it’s direct competition to the casual portion of the audience that Overwatch used to hold onto.
