Moira’s attack self-heals for 30 DPS a second.
So yeah, you were getting a lot more heals than them.
Probably main question: if you are that effective at dealing damage, why are you picking healer?
Thanks to hero limits, no one else can pick Moira, even if they would be better healer, but worse DPS, than you.
your dps are doing poorly because youre not healing. Dps cant do their jobs when you let them die

Moira is the best DPS on the roster. She has a LOCK ON no skill no brain beam of death.
Isn’t it only 50 dps beam? Winston deals 60.
Now try that above gold/plat.
Moira has such a ‘wonderful’ kit that at low level play, she’s strong for the wrong reasons and at high level play, she’s rather bad due to the design of her kit.

well if she had gold heals, solo healing 5 others, then I would brag to getting gold dam/elims…. obviously was doing her job in keeping people alive.
OMFG, ITS NOT LOCK ON FFS, are people that braindead, she needs to put her little aiming receptacle on a hero, if its not on the enemy it will not do anything, she hasn’t got a lock on like old sym, for the love of the gods,

(it’s how I encourage the group to use cover, maybe pick a barrier tank, or pick up an off-healer)
More like you encourage them to pick another main healer to heal instead of you, and add you to “avoid as teammate” list.

Because Baptiste is my new favorite hero. I cannot help that they put the burst fire hitscan as a support. If I could, I would.
Then you should announce your intentions, so no one expects you to do healing, and some other players pick healers to do it.

. The devs literally bound her healing to primary fire indicating she’s supposed to be healing more than damaging
. Healing orb has 300 opposed to 200 for dmg
.Coalescence does 140HPS instead of 75.

The presence of her being a primary healer is so incredibly clear. If she’s getting gold damage, then clearly the DMG/Bruisers aren’t doing enough.
She is a support, therefore you play her like one.
I wish I was a DPS Baptiste. I am actually just learning him properly though. It is sad, but I want to play him to his fullest and that means rarely using my gun for anything other than forced duels, barrier pressure, and clean up. I am getting pretty good at this healing job and starting to sympathize with support mains a whole lot more. I just got a play where nobody was doing anything and I was like, “that’s it” and ulted myself to kill 4 of them. Rofl.
Conversely, I started a match, had all golds and realized my team kept dying and therefore they were unable to escort the payload. Old habits die hard. I have like 800 hours on DPS and less than 30 across all tanks and supports, pretty much. That is a lot to unlearn.
Feel free to disregard this as it’s just personal anecdotes/observations, but she does an odd combination of a ton of trash damage (ie non lethal damage that is simply ult charge for the enemy healer) and gets credit for a ton of eliminations for not much contribution. This leads to having gold elims + gold damage and makes people think they’re carrying with her.
There’s a reason she’s not run as a dps and that’s because her single target damage is short range and weak. Even if you combine it with a damage orb you still have to get up close which means burning your mobility, or go on an extended flanking adventure (and if you try and speed it up with fade you risk being caught).
Personally (again lol) I don’t consider her much of a threat if I’m on mccree, but sometimes I still die to her she’s out of fb range spamming AD (a whole ‘nother thing that does piss me off) and I can’t shoot for €£¥%. But that’s kinda on me for being unable to hit her =\

Bravo! This is an excellently veiled thread to try and subtly get her damage nerfed. Rather than say it outright, you’ve instead created an audacious scenario that will/has created a collective /facepalm-sigh.

You can do 1 healing point and still have gold heals if no one else is healing.

Yes. Continue to do your 45 dps to rein’s shield instead of healing a dps who can take down that shield far quicker.
Most bad moiras go for dps at the start of a fight. When you heal at the start and go into dps mode after getting 2 picks, chances are you’ll end up with silver damage. But well, what do those dps mains know.
These two are meaningless, to be honest, since even small damage can bring you elimination when the target dies.
