Logitech G Pro Wireless

Should I get one?

Convince me.

Currently running a Zowie EC1

Previously a Zowie EC1-A

Previously Lots of Deathadders

Previously Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 (The best mouse ever made :))

I’m using the cheap brother of this one… G 305 wireless, it is perfect.
But there is always the individual factor

Why should you get one?

Hmm… Just a personal preference, but I don’t “trust” wireless mouses.

I know the difference is super minimal, but I don’t like input delays. (that’s why I always play without Vsync n stuff)

Wireless reached the point that there is 0 difference from cord… Newer gens will be all wireless

endgame gear xm1: top of the range sensor, 1ms response, great shape. reasonable price. wired but wireless is overrated, just more things that can break/fail.

Hmm… if you say so :man_shrugging:

idk I can highly recommend Roccat Kone’s. I’ve been using mine for almost decades now.

I bought it like 6 months ago and is the best mouse ive had.

Came from a deathadder elite and i feel the Gpro is much more ergonomic.

And I dont see any difference between a wired mouse and Gpro, not having it wired is very comfortable.

i mean you can try, but if you’re feeling on the fence about it, then it’s probably not the right one for you.

i got a zowie EC2-A and it’s been great for me for a long time, i like the weight and feel of it and it’s fairly simple.
not really anything special but it’s just a good decent mouse, imo way better than death adder i had since the scrollwheel broke for me really fast on that one.

if you wanna get that logitech g pro, then get it, but don’t be surprised if it’s not gonna be what you like, sometimes you just gotta try stuff out until you find the right one for you.

of course the spec are top of the line, wired vs wireless has no differences as they are both reliable, believe me im hardcore on my wired reliability.

when ut comes to mouse im all about shape.
over time while using the g pro i have forgotten how to claw, it is so small and light you can almost use all 3 grip styles at the same time.

a claw grip with the muscle relaxation to press without force, the weight to translate fine motor control but the lack of size to abuse and flick all that well(because you cant grab on to anything).

weather my description is a good or bad thing is up to you.

Is that not almost identical to the Zowie though? The sensor is newer version?

I try to get the best equipment I can, and most “pros” seem to use that mouse.

  1. Turn off the lights. That crap draws power for nothing.
  2. I plug mine in maybe once every two weeks for a half hour.
  3. If you think there’s input lag, you can play with it corded. Even if you don’t “trust” wireless, you can have it as an option on an otherwise fine mouse.

Nope. G502 is already enough.

Wired vs Wireless…

I mean, I have both (a Razer Mamba Wireless and a Logitech G3), and I feel no major differences between them. However, I opted for a wireless one because my cables are getting too freaking clutter.

Why buy a G Pro Wireless when you can buy a G 305? Just slap on an AAA battery with an adapter and you’re good to go. I believe they both use the same Hero sensor. Would save you a lot of money too.

i had a zowie and like zowie but the zowies sensor and 2ms feels sluggish compered to this. i also wanted the ambidextrous shape. i was looking at the g pro but the xm1 is just as good but wired and way cheaper and i dont trust a wireless mouse not to break after a year. but if the size is right and you can afford it, people say the g pro is great.

The G pro wireless and the Zowie EC1 are very similar in size, so the switch will be pretty easy.
If you are buying the mouse you should buy mouse feet as well, it makes so much difference, especially with a wireless mouse.

Get a Glorious Model D. Thank me later.

I looked at this but the reviews suggest poor build quality + the sensor is only a 3360, so effectively the same as what I have.

It has been basically proven, for performance mice. Consumer wireless mice still have latency because people working a spreadsheet don’t care.

Going forward, wireless mice should be faster than wired mice since the signal processing speed will only improve and the speed of the actual transmission won’t change (light speed in a straight line from the mouse to the computer).
