Besides the bullsh** reason of “Oh sometimes people put bad words and slurs in the group name :(” (Just add a chat filter??) It’s been pretty hard to find people to play with. I’ve joined a few Discord servers but I usually get no response.
Most of my friends don’t hop on as much as I do, and solo queue is so lonely.
How are you guys finding people to play with in-game?

On a serious note, if you enjoy playing with someone while solo, send them a group invite. Most people are happy to make friends, and are in a similar boat to you.

I basically only play with my brother if I’m in a group

Can’t wait for them to advertise lfg as a brand new feature, so the shills can clap like seals.
People have been asking for the weapon inspect, and I’m sat here thinking where’s the guild feature that was teased way back in ow1.
For such a team reliant game ow2 lacks in social features.
Its called “Talking to people in game”.
IDK what generation you are from my dude but if you talk to people in game, and add the good players you find , generally 1 out of 3 accepts and you can talk and meet and sometimes … using Discord you can find more communities like that.
LFG was never to find players to play with.
Weird, IKR ? But people misused that tool SO MUCH and SO HARD that they had to remove it. Blame the player base 
VC in overwatch… Impossible
That is like asking for being banned…
LFG was a hit and miss. Neat feature but as so long you was winning your group stayed together but one lost game everyone jumped ship…
Discord is your best bet
It’s easy… you play a game and add people you want to keep playing with.
In EU ? Its a bit hard sure, not impossible. In US, not at all.

Lfg kinda served the same purpose as a third place, where you can socialise with people who are actually willing to do so. Without the pressure of a match happening.
When I said “talk”, writing also counts.
If you want to find “buts” and obstacles everywhere, you will find them, thats for sure. What I said works, I didnt say its instant or requires zero effort but LFG did almost nothing really.
And it required A LOT of effort and waiting for players to join etc.

not true at all, it was removed because according to Blizz’s stats hardly anyone was using it

IDK what universe you live in my dude but this is how it works on videogames for around a GAZILLION years. You know that people played competitive team games BEFORE VC was even in games, right?
Like they had to invent Ventrilo, Team speak etc AFTER people just talked in game (writing, yes) and then gave their IDs to chat and game afterwards.
Unless you are playing with friends or people you know from BEFORE, if you just want randoms, the game will do it for you
