So, in OW2 it’s been rumored everyone’s favorite Cowboy was loosing his flash bang, and being replaced with a new ability. I don’t know if I’m late to post this, but a content creator by the name of The Omnic Post made this video talking about a leaked 4chan video. At 0:56 is where he talks about it.

Nothing is known as far as how it performs.
If it slows and does more damage than the 25 damage flashbang does now then it will be solid.
More range and also doing more damage is welcomed.
How about a short “blind” that makes the screen white for a second. Works in other games also as a disorientation tool. I would like that more than changing all CCs to slows…
IMO having your screen blind you with a white flash like in CS:GO is way more annoying that a very short stun that flashbang has currently in OW1.
Its gonna be changed so “just leave the stun” is not an option. It will be blind or a slow. I rather have a blind because thats how it should work. Its FLASHbang for a reason.
Someone doesn’t know how flashbangs work. FYI another name for a flashbang is a stun grenade 
I am sure it works with a blinding light. But like I said: I would rather have a blind than a slow.
Light is certainly a component of it, but is actually the least impactful part of it. The “bang” part is caused by sound and causes significant pain and messes with your ears. You will be on the ground in pain and completely disoriented for significantly longer than any blinding effects.

Yeah pretty useless ability, it will do nothing against Roadhog in the matchup. Just delete it and give him mobility the thing he lacks most.

And that’s good, good to have confirmation that Cass’ stun is gone. But then again it is still a slow or a blind, so remains to be seen if that’s good enough.
I will find it hilarious if it’s even better than current stun as far as usability by having more range and damage and the complainers will still continue to complain.
I think they should also move hog to dps and take away the stun effect from his hook cos lets be real even devs said he ain’t a tank but just a fat dps
How about not? Lots of people can’t take bright flashes, be it epilepsy, migraine trigger or just sensitivity to light. I still can’t believe we are in year 2022 and devs don’t understand that and still keep putting stuff like that in games. Was interested about Valorant when it was coming out and just noped out when I found out it’s literal flash spam. Even something like a blackout would be better than a bright flash.
I really don’t understand the “realism” point of view either. This is a game for entertainment. It’s supposed to be fun, not hurt you. Next you suggest a required gun attachment to your pc/console that fills you with lead when you get shot?
This is legit. My girlfriend can’t deal with things like this… we were trying out an early-access co-op zombie survival space game that has a special enemy that creates a huge blinding light and it just absolutely flattened her and started a migraine. She had to stop playing a few minutes after we first encountered that special enemy and we haven’t played again since.
This needs to not be a thing. The displacement CCs in this game are already bad enough for players that suffer from vertigo and motion sickness. I’d hate to not be able to play Overwatch with her anymore.
I hope it screws with you reticle/aiming (Forced sway) to justify its use.

Im up for anything as long it doesnt stun anymore, as in stops movement. Little puny grenade stuns giant hamster inside his bulletproof giant ball, ridiculous thing and has stun radius like twice bigger than the ball

You can make it dark instead of bright white. I dont have epilepsy, but honestly I would appreciate not having white melting terror on the screen. Like make it blink dark and double everything that you see, kinda like in CS
Screen going black would be much better.
