Latency and spike in-game

Hi, I’m trying to play Overwatch for a while now and it’s impossible to go through a game without lagging, I can’t even see the weapons or the ennemies while I play. And I can’t move a little without lagging badly. Here’s the looking glass test and WinMTR.

The first couple of hops on your ISP are experiencing significant packet loss of 5-6%. Forward these results to them.

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Only your ISP will be able to fix issues on these hops.

Are you using a shared connection of some sort? Or do you have something like a cable modem connected to a router, which is connected to another router in your house?

It’s kind of funny that your packets to Blizzard get routed through Equinix’s network almost all the way while their packets to you get routed over the “regular” internet. Either your ISP or EQ have made a mistake in their routing. EQ had a huge brainfart last year, doing exactly that in one data center, but it’s more likely it’s something close to you.

Well, I have a modem and a router, I’m not using any cable on my laptop for the connexion. My game was working perfectly fine through the year except 4 mouths ago I can’t even play the game :sleepy:
