Lags and disconnections?

So I noticed recently that sometimes when I queue for a game, it sometimes stays on the loading screen forever then it tells me that “failed to connect to server”, and it happened quite often, especially last 2 days. Also on comp, I sometimes get a heavy lag, sometimes it goes away but other times it disconnects… which made lose so much SR.
Also it happened yesterday that every player was kicked out from their games?! I was in comp and that really could’ve suspended me or even ban me due to how many times I’ve been disconnected…

Does anyone else experienced that?

yep…I cant even launch my game (fail to connect to the server from launch)

I’m experiencing this rn :frowning:

Me too. I launched the game. Then when it gets to “Entering game”. Boom. “Lost connection to server” Hopefully today is not total mayhem in arcade T^T I wanna play that!

but lags are still there?

Unfortunately all disconnections and game crashes counts as leaving the match and will be penalized appropriately. The game server has no way to discern a legitimate disconnection or game crash from one that is forcefully caused by a dishonest player to bypass leaver penalties. You can learn about this policy here:

To get the correct IP you will actually need to open up the game and go Practice Vs AI or Quick Play and if you are on PC hit Ctrl+Shift+N and it will bring up the ingame network diagnostic graph, or go to Video > Options > Display Network Performance Graph if you are on any platform including Console. In the top left corner is the IP address you want to run WinMTR to.
