Planning on nerfing tanks again this weekend? So, another lackluster event on the horizon? And let me guess, you’re going to try and lure in tank mains next week with some underwhelming portrait reward?

Just so you know, I haven’t touched comp at all this season. If you keep gutting the tank role, you’ll be looking for a new job by the end of the year—you won’t even make it to see the summer skins.

I’m out. I’ll stick to quick play, where it’s actually fun and I don’t have to stress over tank nerfs. I lose nothing there.

By the way, when you’re polishing up that resume, make sure the font’s professional—11.5 pt, that’s the sweet spot.

“Gutted tank role”… You mean the heroes that were turned into Kaiju to try to make them work in this format?
The more you buff tanks in 5v5, the more they counter each other, and the more necessary it becomes for the other roles to counter them as well, and the more necessary it is to hard focus them.

Yeah I don’t know what this guy is talking about, collectively, the role has never been stronger.

Rein’s nigh unkillable unless he decides to stupidly 1v5 charge.

DVA has to be slightly less agro now but can still blow people up in miliseconds.

Junkerqueen has been powercrept a fair bit but that’s more of a knee jerk reaction to keep her in line with the others.

Only tanks i’d genuinely say are balanced are ball and mauga.

It was literally just stronger back before they nerfed armor and displacement resistance?

Luckily Reinhardt players are definitely going to charge in 1v5.

Someone in the management needs to check my ph# to hours played this last month vs money spent and fire who nerfed the tanks

Open challenge to management - check it out. Remove the big brain, who nerfed the tanks. Think we fools here tanking and we going to play your game.

You will need to give us more weakened event just to save your job by next summer.

Game is F2P. There is nothing competitive about overwatch. Its a game where you need to know what to do.

Nerfing tank so dps can feeel better? They will need to make more weekend evenets just to fill slots.

That is a problem.

No one plays comp since they have no idea what to do. They sure do know how to pump out Rein skins.

Tank is pretty strong right now. I mean it’s not the strongest role in the game, but it’s certainly not bad. It does, however, feel like torture to play

Alternatively, if they nerfed all the tanks, you could still just counterswap or hard focus to shut them down that much easier making it a 4v5 even sooner

What can I say? Tank is doomed regardless. It’s still a miserable tank experience even with all their buffs. Now everyone is equally miserable!
