Why is Juno any different here?
I’ve seen plenty of Support players without any talents or brains. They constantly think they can solo Tanks or run off in front of the team and not heal. That’s doesn’t really help with Juno.
Mercy and ana players awkwardly fidgeting in the back, hoping nobody notices them.

Eh. Some of the supports are overtuned but its all about effort to value ratio imo
Its about the effort to play Juno compared to the value she gets
Like Baptiste and Kiri who I hit GM with in the past, that was the most nonchalant experience I’ve ever had playing OW, because their kits allowed you to do so much with so little input. I straight up think Kiri boosted so many support players from her release until like season 11, and Juno has been doing that for the past few months

For years mercy players were able to boost way beyond the rank they should have been at, to the point they outright protested when blizzard nerfed her. It was an entire thing.
There’s only been 1 support that could boost players multiple ranks and that’s brig.
No other support could ever boost some gold player to masters.
Are we pretending that tank and dps cant be boosted at all by being meta slaves? Sojourn obviously didn’t boost any dps players whatsoever of course.

Yeah, not like mercy pocketing has ever caused severe problems at any point in the game’s history.
Juno is not unique in this regard, this has been a problem throughout the game’s history.
You need a smurf to duo with to do that. Doesn’t work in solo queue. Unlike brig 1.0

How about Tracer Widow Sojourn Pharah Ashe Cassidy and literally any hero that’s been meta for a few seasons? Are Lucio players boosted because he was meta too for a long time, as much as Ana

You need to run a Brig with Juno to be effective. it’s meta for a reason because it has great success - especially if you don’t mirror.
