Junkrat nerfed - the buffs arent enough and ignore his main issue

Pharah rocket of 30m/s would actually be pretty slow as well yes, yet it’s a rocket launcher for some reason.

Ooh, sorry, missed that. But yeah, Torb and Brig can’t be comboed, and he also can’t 2-shot Brig (with frag) if she has inspire active.

But he’s an area of denial hero… You’re trying to remove that part of his kit.

If run into that small room on the left of Temple of Anubis and his nades are bouncing all around, you should get hit and die.

exploding on impact would ruin junkrats bankshots and making them timed makes them predictable for the enemy and unpredictable for you

Not to mention, I don’t think people really understand just how oppressive Junkrat would be if his shots explode on impact.

To put in simply, imagine Pharah but his splash does 80 instead of Pharah 20. And he can fire it around people to kill them slowly like how Pharahs or Zarya would slowly chip people down.

If the lower ranks think Junkrat is oppresive now, they would be crying to hell and back if Junkrat nade exploding on impact is implemented instead. Nevermind how much faster he would charge his ult.

The ricochet is nothing compared to that.

But does it happen ENOUGH for it to be a relevant mechanic, compared to what people get frustrated of ?
To me it seems like having a timer, maybe more explosion radius and/or more explosion damage could be a good trade off. It could be more reliable

I don’t understand how it would make it more predictable for the enemies than it is now
As I see it, at long range, you could use this timing to get damage from the explosion where you want, and opponents could less easily avoid those damage. I may be wrong tho

Dude, it’s a buff, not a nerf. All of his grenades are currently 0.2m radius.

If you watch any of the high ranked players like Chro they say that they can’t even tell a difference with the size change.

I also need the tire reverted; I have no idea how anyone manages to not get it sniped, because the second anyone can see it it’s shot it’s so dang slow now. My best bet is trying to drop it down on top of someone, and that’s not exactly an option everywhere.

It’s less than half the circular area it was before.

I constantly hear Chro say “Old primary would have hit that”
Or “I would have hit that 2nd shot and won that with old projectile”

So, Chro does notice it.
