I got a pretty decent track record for coming up with ideas that to find their way into the game.
And I don’t see much way for them to counter this doublebarrier issue without making barriertanks more vulnerable at close range.
And this is a lot more elegant of a solution than cutting off a big chunk of their HP.

this doesn’t make sense at all. Armor currently is both anti-poke and anti-dive your change will literally change nothing other than hurt heros which are reliant on burst damage.
Well, McCree, Ashe, and Widow are all top of the meta.
With Hanzo not that much further behind, with buffs incoming.
Soldier would do more damage on bodyshots.
And Doom wasn’t all that good against Tanks in general.
So what heroes are you talking about?
Cause Reaper, for instance, would be dealing about 30% more damage
more inspire self healing or more shield hp
The latter would be ideal. More inspire self-healing doesn’t make a difference if Brig gets burst down before she can make use of it.
The way they are constantly working the tanks and supports over, it makes me think the goal of the Dev’s is to make all the solo or casual tanks and supports quit the game.

This seems interesting. But wouldn’t it mean that tanks get to benefit it more than the damage heroes?

For supportive abilities, scaling value is acceptable (for example, Baptiste’s immortality field min health)
For offensive abilities, scaling value is annoying & quite honestly bad for the game in my opinion (for example, Sigma’s ult & Echo’s beam)
I feel like a handful of the already limited supports could & maybe even should have more scaling value based on total health. However on Brig I feel it’s kinda unneccesary to say the least. I’m all for it however, I don’t see why it can’t at least be given a chance.
But scaling value shouldn’t be universal. All three of the most recent hero additions have scaling value based on total health & that’s not a good trend in my opinion. The game works better when things have exact values, like McCree’s left click, Winston’s beam, or Reinhardt’s Charge.

Me too actually. I would be surprised if they did it, the reason I say it is using scaling is often to them “non-intuitive” in it’s outcome. People like raw numbers to track during play.
What do you think they will do? This is, of course, if they decide on changing it.
Armor scaling would be interesting, but i think it would start up Bunker if there wasn’t a nerf with it, maybe make Temp Armor only -3 reduction.
Just remove the trash packs.

I know your nostalgia is strong but no, dive was dead end boring waiting on the better flanker so much Brig came out to push them back. She was literally designed for dive flankers because it was such a snooze and needed shaking up. Dive is only wanted now because it’s gotten worse every new meta. But it was just as dull as double shield.

Finally getting a nerf? Brig is more balanced than Ana currently. Her issue comes from the fact the devs wanna sit idle on power creep and pretend healing is the problem when healing highs are because supports can’t use any other aspects of their kits less get their team killed.

It wasn’t very long ago they reduced max armour given by 30% and knocked off 5 healing per second.
Ana has no effect regarding my opinion on brig.
Brig needs a net nerf and has for ages. I’m glad they are at least looking at the repair pack error
