Press X To Doubt. But these do look kinda cool.
I am sure they are real CONCEPTS. So they will look different but as an idea I am sure that it could be true. The first background is to 100% a placeholder.

Huh something interesting.
It’s official from a real person at Blizzard. Some Concepts are created around 2018 and some are newer

What I mentioned… some of the concept arts are from 2018. Maybe they scrapped the idea. But what we saw during the Blizzconline 2021, a Guild System could be a reality.
just saw some others…ill update up top
Want to point out for the 2 pve shots they are clearly playing as genji but have doom’s icon, plus the ult % is on aligned properly
Or the menu…not sure which….anyone got a ruler?!?!
Usually this could mean that a hero with no ingame model is being playtested but in this case I have no idea what’s up with the Doom icon.It also shows that they’re playing Mercy in the first image.
All this continued “simplifying” to me still in no small part signifies preparation for mobile being the core audience…
Battlepass is a wtf? No thank you
I don’t know which is scarier……Hanzo with an aimbot/Yondu arrow….or torb with flamethrowers
We already saw this in action during one of their talks about Overwatch 2.0’s PvE.

i actually did wonder if they had (vague recollection)…but all that pops into head when i think about it is the yondu version…so wasnt sure
Seriously Hanzo with an aimbot arrow? You really need that to hit a target with Hanzo?
Its definitely happening so…
either accept it or move along
No way there isnt a battle pass in ow2 when every multiplayer games has one and they have been adding them to all activision/blizzard titles
Rather a battle pass than lootboxes anyday.
I think people are just hating on a successfully proven monetisation system. Battle passes keep player retention which in turn increases player engagement and potential expenditure. Ie. They keep people wanting to play your game and increase a players investment in that game. Win win for a developer if not only do you have more people wanting to keep coming back to play but also more likelihood they will buy something.
Also i think battle passes open creative freedoms the game currently does not offer. The current seasonal event system heavily restricts creative design when it comes to cosmetics imo. You have to make skins that fit into the theme of the event or it doesnt work. And ngl after 5 years of chinese ny skins they all start to blend together.
I would rather a battle pass that added new creative avenues for cosmetics that couldnt be done with a seasonal model. Maybe now we will actually get skins like talon mercy because what is holding them back from doing a talon battle pass. Maybe we can start fleshing out skin themes like pirate skins to more heroes so we can make more teams with matching outfits.

There’s the battlepass lol
Guilds, though? Thank God.
I found the clip.
It appears to only be for PvE. From the clip, the arrow only goes after enemies marked by his Sonic Arrow. (Go to 0:32)
