Both Mercy and Brig were nerfed to the point where their entire core character was ruined and they became sluggish, unfun versions of themselves. When people complained, the answer was “too bad, they were in the spotlight for too long”. Ana outshines the support roster in every way possible (besides mobility ig) and has kept a huge pickrate for way longer. It’s only fair she gets nerfed as well.

Thats wierd because Ana, unlike Brig, is not dominating OWL pickrates therefore she does not need nerfs. If Ana was OP she would be played all the time in OWL (like brig was) and that is just not happening. Theres a wide variety of support compositions being played there, including mercy/ana, mercy/zen and moira/lucio which proves that Ana is not a must-pick or OP.
If people on the ladder don´t want to play those compositions it’s not an Ana problem.

What a pitty party
People seriously want to ruin a hero and break the game just for their own vendetta.
But to be constructive here are my 2 cents:
Her competitor are Bap and Moira
Baps niche is dead, lost his home, his friends, his future and need some serious help.
It’s up to the devs to fix him
Moira is in this weird spot where the devs try fix their input to output ratio, but she will always have a hard time to compete because of lack of utility
Even Mercy has far more utility
And no Bap and Moira didn’t get gutted because people hat them, they got nerfed because they provided in Bunker and DB GOATs like sustain, which anyone should know
Mercy got the rework to make her more viable in higher ranks.
In high ranks tempo rez was the way to go, not huge rez, so they changed Mercy to fit the playstyle which was played by at the top.
Brig had too much impact on the overall meta. She outright denied many heroes the viabillity.
Currently we have the most diverse tank meta ever seen.
Only 2 out of 8 tanks aren’t meta, yes 6 tanks are meta, that is crazy.
Also every support, except Brig and Bap, is viable

“We have to ruin ALL the supports! its not fair!” Comparing ana to brig is not the same. People claiming shes OP do not play her enough or understand her counterplay. Shes all over ladder because shes the easiest support to get value out of with uncoordinated team mates. Moira is even better but ana has the better heal delivery tool for dispersed team mates

No it’s only fair she gets nerfed because she is out of line. She has one ability that does too much with a short cd along with a generous range of effect.

Which is also her only form of self heal or sustain boost for her team. She is easily punished for going for antis because she has no mobility and is completely reliant on smart initial positioning and two cooldowns she should use elsewhere to stay alive

Gosh imagine appreciating heros with a skill based difficulty attached to their kit… almost like its fun to watch people excel at mechanically challenging physical actions… almost… almost like a sport of some sort… some kind of … ESPORT WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?

How many times does it have to be said
Pick rate =/= power level
There’s a reason GMs and devs almost never mention pick rate
And if we’re really going down the pick rate path, it is falling and reached 11% today, the lowest in a month. But I don’t know why I’m bringing that up considering it’s counter-intuitive to my argument
