I’ve noticed that after all the streamers and content creators went over to Marvel Rivals, there’s not a whole lot of “Nerf this” or “this character is broken” discussions going on anymore.
It’s actually kind of concerning how little “balancing” criticism there is when it’s not being parroted from a streamer or content creator. Here’s an honest, genuine question. Can people even think for themselves?
You know what’s also kind of extremely concerning? I think the developers have been listening to parroted information that’s been coming from the top 1% of players since the game’s inception and I think they’ve been using that information like it’s a hot topic for the majority of the community.
Streamers and content creators are not mediums that can be used for the community’s sentiment; it’s actually quite the opposite. The community is entirely reactionary towards the streamers and CCs, but almost everything they do, and showcase cannot be replicated by the majority of us, i.e., the 99%.
It’s just strange to me that the only time we actually see legitimate “balance” changes that aren’t just tweaking tiny numbers is when some content creator makes a 30-minute video yapping about said thing.
Yeah, I don’t think there really was any other than maybe a couple of streamers yapping about how Widow was too oppressive because of the enlarged hitboxes and, funnily enough, just recently.
Widow’s Kiss
Scoped shots no longer benefit from global projectile size increases.
Poom, I noticed that there is just less going on in general. Back in my day, P.M. (pre-Mahvel), people used to have fruitful discussions. And now it is just people pretending to have fun as Doomfist juggles them and weirdos who believe this is the Mahvel forum. It’s tragic.
I can. And I say it’s time for Genji buffs.
I believe you are correct and that’s what I have been crying about for a really long time.
But I am a spirit medium. I spoke to Overwatch from the afterlife and it told me to move on and be happy. Marry Reed Richards!
I suppose it partially has to do with the fact, that the streamer viewers would like to echo a change, that satisfies the streamer, so that the watched/streamed gameplay improves, and as a small bonus they complain less about an issue.
It’s a bit concerning, what if some OW streamer complains about Hulk being strong and Blizzard picks up the stray signal and nerfs Rammatra or something?
My Sistah Spice said that if this season is not ground breaking that we are done with Overwatch. She is not giving me much of a choice. It sounds like it is up to her.
I’ve sorta been saying all this on “my stream” for weeks, even months now
I am genuinely in the top 1% of people who love this game, how could I possibly know? I’ve. Been in the top 1% of everything in my life, and I love playing Overwatch, so if I’m not 1% I’ll make sure I am
As crazy as it all sounds, the only reason it does sound crazy is because I am very crazy. It’s why I’m the 1%. I do stuff people only dream about (I can even prove it). It’s even why I started streaming because I thought people wanted to know what it was like to be a 1%er. Cos how many streamers are 1%?
Not intended as promotion as there is no mention of my channel name
The reason I haven’t been making “remove Widow’s oneshot” posts isn’t because there aren’t any streamers demanding it - it’s because I’ve been playing something else that doesn’t have anything on Widow’s level. You’ve gotta believe me, OP!
As it is my teachings I always hide clues and give hints
It’s got to do with my name
Edit*
Could this be considered a work around thus making me not cowardly?
don’t forget the answers are in the clues G
That last hint/clue has too much meaning and ambiguity I usually try with JumpingBeans101 on every platform I play but it’s shortened here. Fun fact, I included "101"on my name when online gaming first started, and why did I put 101? Because I like teaching and I like to school people
