So i know its considered toxic and all that and some people cry and go to a therapist from it, but at the same time its just fun banter which tbh makes me laugh when said to me or said by me. So I wanted to know if it IS ban-able.

I usually say “Gg lol ez read” or “gr” (good round👀)
I mean some people cry hard about it and some do say it is reportable but when genji kills you sometimes he asks in japanese “Are you a dumbass/ an idiot?” or just the insult not sure of the translation.
if enough people report you for it - yes.
characters saying stuff is not the same as the player saying it.
“Uh oh, that reaper tells me to die every time when he ults. lets report him lulz”

Junkrat can do that without killing someone. I dont think many players report for that. Saying “gg” only after a 2 min win isnt really better imo. But i never thought about reporting someone for it.
Ah I see well idk about you but when reaper says that I immediately call my therapist. God forbid someone tells me gg ez Idk what I might do. Point: Hypocritical that heroes can banter for us but we can’t banter ourselves.
System recognize this as spam and change “gg ez” to another phrases to troll people who always type it. Example:
Idk if anyone told you but adding one z nulls that and means the same thing
At this point, I feel the auto-changed text is worse then just “gg ez”. It encourages people to say it, and the spam takes up more space.
I’d rather nothing come up at all and they get a temp chat ban.
Got people on my own team saying “gg ez” while i’m over here sweating and back pain from carrying so hard.
I hate to say this, but talking to the other team should just be removed.
If they didn’t enjoy the auto-change, they’d trick it with 1337 speak… but they don’t. they choose this cr@p. They love it.

I sure hope not because that is ridiculous. It’s small stuff like this that will eventually snowball to the point where accidentally bumping shoulders with someone will be require a fine and written apology. People are snowflakes nowadays. Bring back the early xblive days.

kinda like it that on consoles you only have voice chat and no text chat. waaay less toxicity.
they say it to be obnoxious so i report them to be obnoxious. dont worry the report is only banter lol.
